I rarely give reviews online, but here we go: At first they said they could give me a quote the next day after looking at my home renovation project and said they could do the job in a week or 2. Great, right? The quote turned into a month and then they finally told me it's going to be too expensive, they don't want the job, and to find someone else. THANKS FOR A WASTE OF MY TIME! Do not go to England Contracting in Iowa Falls, IA unless you want to be hung on a string for a month, then them back out. Talk about time value of money people! This estimate does not take long! You could have had my $15,000 if you just called me back to let me know when I should be receiving a quote! I am not the only one having this problem... my neighbor has been waiting a quote for 7 months! How are these people still in business?! I traveled from out of state to meet with King Construction at a house I bought last year in Iowa Falls. We went over several projects I'm thinking of and/or hope to finish but need some help with structural (most importantly, replacing some rotten floor joists)... I have an open deadline for finishing and asked for estimates on a few things. I was promised an estimate within 2 wks. Just over 2 wks later, I get an email with no estimate saying they don't have time ,do not have my "quote" and sorry for the inconvenience. By "inconvenience" did he mean me traveling from out of state (airfare,car rental, gas, food)? Or possibly for me paying to stay locally while I was there? Or maybe just the simple inconvenience of waiting the full 2wks and disrespectfully being left empty handed and brushed off with just an email because they got a bigger job and my projects are tiny in comparison.

Huge red flag for this company. Rented a storage unit on 1-19-26 paid a 100$ deposit and 100$…read moretowards next months rent. Filled out the paperwork and before I left the lady said I needed to give them a copy of my key. (In case I lost mine is the reason they gave). It's not on the contract and didn't sit well with me so today February 2nd I went in to pay fees. Before I paid them the lady said to not forget to give them a key and I asked if that was mandatory and she said yes. I told her then I haven't used the unit and I'm not going to if I have to give strangers a copy of my key. So she refunded me 49$ out of the 200$ I paid them 13 days prior and that was that. 150$ for 13 days of a unit I didn't use because giving strangers a key is the complete opposite of security. If they had told me on the 19th before I had paid I'd have turned them down. Shady business practices for sure. And definitely not the industry standard and is no where on the contract I signed. I would like a complete refund not a quarter of it. Shame
