During the representation there were significant disagreements regarding strategy and the handling of documents. In my experience, required responses were not filed in the way I expected, and at one point court filings were submitted by another individual associated with the office without my prior knowledge or consent. After the representation ended, I requested my complete client file. There is currently a dispute about whether the full file has been provided. I was also asked to sign a withdrawal document that included language affecting my homestead rights, which I declined to sign. A lien was later recorded against my property related to the representation. As of March 2026, reinstatement efforts regarding the mortgage were not successful. I am submitting documentation and exhibits regarding this matter to The Florida Bar for review. Based on my personal experience with this representation, I would not retain this attorney again. He is representing clients I will have to sue because they have been keeping my own money from me that I paid them (they provided no service or product to me for the money I paid them- & if someone replies to this, I'll post the texts & emails confirming this that I also shared with David & that he shared with me agreeing to that). For over 6 months, I have summited to him documents, texts, etc. that prove his clients stole my money, & instead of instructing them to just give it back since they falsified documents to submit to my bank & lied to the Consumer Protection Bureau, BBB, reportfraud.gov (FBI reporting), Broward police, & others, he wants me to waste even more time by going & removing bad reviews of this company. (FYI- the police told me to definitely take them to small claims court after they attempted to talk to them over the phone.) He is even saying that I have to go to, write, or call & wait on hold with these agencies, say the report I filed is false (so ruining my own reputation) & then provide proof I did this, & if they don't like my proof, they get to keep my money. I think what would have been great is if they would have just refunded my money since they did nothing to have it so that I never had to file reports & write reviews in the first place. I feel the public should know when someone scams a client. They also want me to sign something saying that I have to pay $2500 anytime they find a review or hear I said something negative about that company that i automatically owe them $2500 per violation. So, in order to get my own money back, I will NOT remove reviews because if I can help one person to stay away from Chuck Alfieri or Hilde Stenerson of CA Studios (& this law firm who supports this behavior), I did a good deed. David has responded to me accusing me of lying (by continuing to say I did things I can prove & showed him I didn't do) & accusing me of pretending to be hurt by the situation. I have been hurt because in addition to being stolen from & financially hurt & having this much time wasted with over 65 emails, etc. with him, I have had to discuss a personal health issue with a total stranger (him) during this & constantly defend myself. His behavior was fine at first, but now it is extremely unethical & unprofessional. As stated, if he or this company respond to this & claim this is a lie, I will follow up with texts, emails, federal agency reports, falsified documents, etc. All I want is my own money back. I shouldn't have to try to repair an online reputation by removing reviews for a company that scams people to get that, nor should a law firm represent these types of people.
