A kind relative bought me a voucher for the Waterfall Spa for my September birthday and by the time November had reared its ugly head, I decided the cold weather provided a good excuse to go and receive some pampering. I booked a Coconut Sugar Body Polish. After being seen by the personable staff on reception, I was provided with a lovely fruit tea, and asked to wait in a separate room. It was a delightful environment in which to relax, it was comfortingly warm and the air was filled with oils of varying aromas. The massage itself was excellent. The beautician was very friendly, explaining what she was using whilst ensuring I was happy throughout the process. I have no shame in admitting that I fell asleep towards the end of the massage, and was considerately left alone to reawaken myself and get dressed! I am on the mailing list for the Waterfall Spa and often get sent some reasonable special offers to use. Currently, there is a 2 for 1 evening pass for £45. There is the option to bring a friend or simply use the voucher twice yourself, for a evening using the spa facilities. As a recipient of a gift voucher, I would highly recommend the experience. There are a wide range of pampering packages to purchase, along with many products for the body and skin. With some of the special offers refusing to break the bank, maybe I will work on making this a regular luxury.

Everyone has one of those friends who is a little crazy and ridiculously spontaneous. I have a…read morefriend like this but she is quite an extreme version. Last time she visited was for a week and the first day she got up here we went for a walk around Moortown Corner. There used to be a spa on the corner and she wanted to check it out, since her last visit Transform has popped up in its place. Not being deterred by the change of services she decided she wanted to go and have a look. Somehow, I am not sure exactly how it happened; she had booked us both in for a no fee consultation. I am not advocating the use of botox and I am at the age when I still think it would be highly unnecessary so I just went along with it out of curiosity. My friend however is older than I am and so wrinkles are a constant worry for her and she was serious about seeing what could be done. We went down a few days later and I was really impressed by the clean and stylish rooms and the consultant was lovely. Rather than try and get me to have a procedure that a) I didn't really want b) couldn't afford and c) didn't really need, he told me that it wasn't suitable for me. My friend however could do with a bit of help and he took his time explaining what they could do and answering her questions. Lady at the desk is great and both Derith (the co-ordinator) and my surgeon (Netri) were good and relaxing. I didn't feel pressured here like I had done before when going to see other surgery groups in Leeds, which was mainly why I chose this group to have my surgery with. Surgery is not performed here (hospital is in Manchester) but non-surgical procedures are performed here! I have not had anything there with them, but have thought about possible laser hair removal. Time will tell with that though. I am not looking to do it soon. Only complaint is lack of parking, but I just used the M&S car park across the street.
