Armed with my mental list of things to do, I made my way to ARB Time Watch Center with ironically no time to spare. The shop, conveniently located at the ground floor of Market Market was manned by a certain fellow named Eugene. His fingers, steady and solid, capable of winding and twisting showed no traces of incompetence, quite expected for a man who has been keeping the business ticking for the last 10 years. It took Eugene less than 5 minutes to replace the batteries and it was so far, the easiest errand of the day. And because I had some time to spare, I walked a little slower and breathed a little deeper hoping that my next task would be as easy as the one that had just passed.

However, it also home to stores that deal in watches. There are plenty of stores inside that deal in watches and watch related accessories. I've only recently gotten into horology, but 6750 became a nice place to visit ever since I wanted to see some of the watches I like up close. If you're looking for a fancy accoutrement or accessory to go with your outfit, then I suggest saving yourself a bit of time and by going here to find the watch that you want.

Spatial Awareness: I enjoy the layout of the entire mall…read more Instead of one long line-shaped mall, all the buildings more or less revolve around each other, making exploration more pleasant. It's easy to find most places & they have a fair amount of help desks. The place gets really crowded during sale, rush hour, & the holidays. Sales: Sales are so frequent that I'm not sure it's wise to "seize the moment" anymore. If you shop at sales often, you're not really saving anymore, because while you're thinking you spent less & got good deals, you have nearly nothing left & have to wait until your next pay day. Parking: They have parking slots everywhere in different buildings such as The Link. The problem is they get full quickly towards the afternoon. The mall needs more security because people still pass through Wrong Way signs. Lounges: I like that the mall has lounges for cleaner restroom experiences, but doesn't that make you wonder why there is such? Shouldn't all restrooms be well-maintained in the first place? P10/use is big when you do the math. Although, it's still hilarious to see some people hoard toilet paper or paper towels. It's funny, sad, foolish, & clever. But I admit doing this with a runny nose. :)

I walked in and came across a wide range of vintage Rolex Daytona and GMT models and a full lineup of Patek Philippe Nautilus and Aquanaut watches up for sale. They mentioned that they can source watches from around the world as well. Definitely a must visit for watch collectors who happen to be in Makati!

The people are obnoxiously loud just asking for attention, or blocking the walk-way taking an instagram post in a city they don't own a residence in. BGC is overhyped all around. At first, I only referred to this mall as "The New Movie Place in Fort", because they finally…read moreopened a place to watch movies in the Fort (apart from SM Aura). When Central Square Mall was open for watching movies, my girlfriend and I decided to go watch a movie on a whim. When we got there, we got surprised that the cost of a ticket is almost double the cost of a standard one elsewhere - only to find out it's because of the 4D experience they offer (and super comfy lazy boy seating). We pretended to wait for our friends to confirm before purchasing tickets, because they were really out of our budget at the time (and we weren't going to waste 4D on a comedy film). I also hear that you can get your food delivered to you while you're inside the movie theater! Central Square has some pretty good restaurants on the top floor, especially Va Bene and Mad Mark's. My personal favorite snack, Jamaican Patties, has a kiosk present, which makes me very happy. There's also a small Family Mart on the top floor, which has a few tables and chairs for patrons to eat before or after watching the movie. The stores available here are pretty standard and also pretty high end. I'd still rather shop around the stores along High Street, mainly because of the price and the availability. Regardless, they have a variety of stores that will cater to your every (luxury) need.
