Be very...VERY careful dealing with this Klinke Cleaners store. I'm was visiting in Madison and needed a pair of sweaters dry-cleaned and about 10 lbs. of clothes laundered. I was very clear, mentioning twice to the manager that only the two sweaters were to be dry-cleaned. He chose *NOT* to inform me that the by the pound 'wash-and-fold' service was not available to walk-in customers (it's a pick-up/delivery service). Instead, he took the 10 items and dry-cleaned everything, turning what should have been a $50 bill into a $100 ripoff. The manager of this store is dishonest and will try to talk his way out of the situation by claiming that their customers, "...should know the store's policies." WRONG! An honest manager let's the customer know that they've made a mistake so that the customer can then make an informed decision about whether or not to get the more expensive service. read more

Lost my suit jacket after i wore it once. Did not take ownership of their mess up. Blamed it on me and refused to replace my jacket. Couldn't wear my suit to my mother in laws funeral. Tried to call the owner after the first guy said they would not replace it and never received a callback. I would definitely pass on Klinke. read more

Have been a customer of Klinke for YEARS - they do a great job!!! Clothes come out looking like new and you cant beat the turn around time (in by 10 done at 4). On the large items, like down comforters, they are clean and fresh in a very reasonable amount of time. The locations are very convenient and the people are great - I have rarely seen anyone in a bad mood there (which is saying something in the customer service industry). The Klinke in Verona is in a small shop complex one block East of the main intersection. they have a drive up window if you cant (or don't want to get out of your car). Their blue bags for drop off make dropping after hours a breeze and make corralling dry cleaning at home a breeze. Keep up the good work Klinke!!! read more

Whatever you do, don't trust Klinke Cleaners in Verona, WI with your wedding dress!!! I can't speak for their other services, but their wedding dress services are HORRIBLE! I had a bit of dirt on the bottom of my dress that I wanted cleaned before my wedding day and brought it in to Klinke Verona to have it cleaned. After bringing the dress home I took it out of the bag and noticed there were black dots all over the front and back of the dress that were not previously there. Looking at the bodice, I saw that all of the lace was now falling off. Extremely upset, I called Klinke to tell them they ruined my dress and was met with a very unconcerned reaction. They told me to bring it back for them to see the damage. When I brought it back I had to tell them to refund the cleaning fee, they didn't even suggest it. The man working said he could try cleaning the stains but I was afraid he would make it worse, since he created them in the first place. He then said he could have their alterations company sew the lace back on, but once again I didn't want them touching my dress again. So he said they would pay me for the dress, but would need to send it to corporate. I had 3 weeks until the wedding and didn't want to be left with nothing, so was left with a damaged, dirty dress with nothing to resolve the fact that they were at fault. I was devastated! After I left a bad review on a survey they sent, corporate called me right away and offered the same services the Verona location offered. By this time I had already sent the dress to a trusted tailor to hopefully fix the damage. The man said they would pay for the alterations, but my tailor didnt charge me because she felt sorry for me. Anyway, Klinke ruined my wedding dress 3 weeks before my wedding and couldn't even offer compensation for doing it, without taking the dress. I am extremely disappointed with them and don't want any other brides to experience this horrible situation! read more

I initially came to this location purely because of the convenience of the location. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the turnaround time for getting your clothes back is extremely efficient. The drive up window is also very convenient. I do find the rates for dry cleaning to be a little higher than other dry cleaners, but they do offer coupons and specials, and they have the "Hanger return" program, and that helps off-set the cost. read more

This Klinke Cleaners lost two pairs of my husbands pants for two weeks, including the ones he got married in. Every time we called in the person had no idea that there were items missing and claimed to "check the whole store" and find nothing. He had to keep following up daily, they never contacted him like they said they would. After being told we'd have to contact corporate and re-buying one of the pairs of pants so he could wear a suit to a wedding, they found the pants and said something about a new employee. Essentially, they were there the whole time, the staff just didn't actually look. They barely apologized and offered nothing for the hassle. We will not use this Klinke Cleaners again. read more

I brought 3 shirts in to get laundered. When I picked them up they were so wrinkled I question if they were ever pressed. When I took them back to get redone I dropped off two suits to be pressed only. When I picked up my order this time the shirts were average and the jackets had more wrinkles when I dropped them off. At $3 a shirt and $11 per suit (for a press only!) they are not worth the terrible job they do. I will not be going back. read more

We had one issue with a pair of new pants that came back with a large stain that wasn't there when we dropped them off but we told management about it and we were eventually reimbursed for them. We use their coupons from the back of grocery store receipts and also print the email coupons so this helps cut the cost. read more

A situation happened with a comforter. Not sure exactly happened, however, it was ruined. Silvia was a great listener and an asset to the company. She apologized for the mistake and worked with me to correct the situation. Customer service seems to be lost in todays business model. The results have been inconsistent. Sometimes the pressing leaves wrinkles and creases in the wrong spots. The wrinkles appear like there was too much heat for the fabric. The upside is that they are really nice and try to make it right if you bring it to their attention. Another positive is the turnaround time - same day service is great. Drop it off on way to work, pick it up on way back home. I just wish I could drop my laundry off in confidence that it will come back great. Instead I feel like I have to look it over before heading home to save a trip back sometimes. read more

If I could give this establishment a 0, I would do so. Today ,when I picked up my order, I realized the white sweater I brought in was now gray, a designer blouse had a bleach like stain (which was not there upon my dropping the item off.) After the clerk tried to blame me for the item being brought in in this condition, she conceded that at times the dry cleaning process leaves such stains when the dry cleaning chemicals react to stains on the item. I had specifically pointed out three stains to the intake clerk. Never again will I use this establishment. I suggest you not either. read more
