The Fat Pig IPA paired well. I asked my server which starter to try and she recommended the Steak Tartare. The blend of fried capers, cress mayo, sweet & spicy peppers made for an exquisite dish. The Mixed side salad was also excellent! Decided to go with the burger as it was just the right portion (not huge) & many tables were ordering it. I asked for medium rare to medium. The burger came out and was medium well-done. I informed my server & said I was okay keeping it but they insisted on making another one. The second one was a perfect medium. So much better! This burger is about taste and quality ingredients (topped with vinegar pork, beer braised onions & dijonnaise to name a few..sign me up!)-perfect! Definitely one of the top burgers in the area. I don't know how Ihsiri would do in Bangkok, but it compares well with Thai restaurants in North America. We shared papaya salad and crispy tofu with cashews. Both were great. And two draft beers of course. We ate in the interior courtyard on a sunny day. It was lovely. And the service was great. Lund is a university town with enough international students that it can support restaurants from around the world. If you're in Lund and you like Thai food, don't miss Ihsiri.

The simple leaf salad is self serve and includes bread with a Honey mustard dressing. The soup was excellent! Light Tomato base and full of Salmon, Saith, Plaice & Cod. Perfect lunch! Paired it with a draft Nils Oscar which I think is one of the best Swedish Lagers. My server's were all very friendly and attentive pointing out the English menu on the board and answering my questions with a smile. Only way it could've been better is if it were freezing outside.

For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! For our table of 5 we ordered 2 vegetarian pizzas, 1 stark (sp?) pizza, 3 orders of asparagus, 2 orders of fries, 1 order of goat cheese, and one other dish that I didn't taste and can't remember. There was barely enough room on our table for the 2 pizzas, asparagus, and goat cheese, so it was nice that the second order of fries and second vegetarian pizza didn't get through to the kitchen until after we checked with our server.
