This center has about 15 different businesses.. pharmacy,…read moreacupuncture, pediatrics, skin care, Chinese herbal research institute, medical supply, dental group, cosmetic surgery, etc. There's only one entrance on Crenshaw Blvd. so you'd have to go around the whole block if you miss the entrance. And to exit the place, you'd have to drive down to their basement and wait in front of the auto gate that opens for you. Anyway, we made an 8:30am appointment @ the internal medicine (?) center for my father and when we walked in we were the only ones there. There were 2 nurses at the desk who asked us to sign in, and made my dad drink about 20 oz. of some kind of liquid before getting examed. The nurses weren't so good with Korean but it was understandable x] and I didn't let them know I knew how to speak English (until it was time for us to leave) 'cause I didn't want to go back and forth translating it to my dad when they can tell him themselves in Korean. hehe. I'm scared of hospitals.. but it wasn't me who was getting checked up so it was ok :] and the nurses were extra friendly.

The first one only lasted a few weeks but the second I purchased at a medical supply store in Santa Monica proved more durable. Yet as I already noted things break, eventually. And it started to happen to the second ski glider just before a busy day. Schlepping to Santa Monica was going to be an imposition to get new ones. A Google search revealed this surprising option in my neighborhood. It is in a strip mall and stocks an amazing variety of medical equipment in a small space. I found the perfect plastic sturdy gliders for $10. The salesperson brought out a tool kit and was sensational in handling the removal of the old gliders and installing the new ones. Definitely will return when I need equipment.
