As far as Kmart stores go, I happen to be a fan of this one. They have a great selection of DVDs and Music CDs which are always on sale. They always have fully stocked shelves of $9 movies, and a nice cabinet with the most recent box sets. This store doesn't lack in the book department either. There's plenty of toys, stationary, cosmetics, confectionary and sport equipment to be found at Kmart. Unfortunately the clothing area is their downfall. They used to have a decent amount of stock but lately it's always been the same clothes and not much new items come in, and when the items do come in they're already gone before you get a chance to buy them. read more

I went in there looking for books (which they have plenty of) and found rack upon rack of clothes from the naughties and dating back from the late fifties. My suggestion, for those youngsters who love this old style of dress, is to get on your second hand, white walled, refurbished one gear pushbike and get on out to Redcliffe before those swine who own retro retailers get there and take all the good clothes, forcing you to pay three times the actual value. Ready, set, go. For real, like now dude.

Very disappointed in this store and the rudeness of two staff members in particular. One young lady who works in menswear (Sam) and the other at the front entrance (Chloe). May I ask as to why it is the customer's fault when this store displays the wrong price on item???? Because it is not the customers fault. Instead of blaming the customer how about these two young ladies take responsibility and perhaps make sure this store displays the correct price for items in future. You need to be accountable instead of blaming an innocent customer. You've lost one here due to the rudeness of these two staff members. How about management have a word to them re their attitude and lack of customer service. read more
