My little girl runs through the woods, climbing the trees, swinging from the vines, and hiding in the various forts built out of fallen branches. The trees are so huge and thick--particularly the tulip poplars--that you really do feel deep in the woods, even though you're right off the main drag. It's magical. The manicured grounds are lovely--not over done in the last, they actually have a bit of a decaying, slightly neglected feel to them but in a very cool way. The small maze in the cypress tree clearing is pretty cool, and the field with huge trees spaced far apart is perfect for a little hide-and-seek. Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room.
