The cooperage is where the owner (Doug) makes barrels, buckets, kegs and churns. This guy is VERY talented and some of his things have been used in movies and across the country! (not many people can say that!) He even demonstrates his craft in Branson at Silver Dollar City's Harvest Festival. Then there is the store which is attached to the cooperage. This is where Doug's wife operates an adorable shop full of locally made crafts, home decor, jewelry, candles, utensils, framed art, and much more. There are many seasonally appropriate decorations to adorn your home here as well. The best part? Well... that's hard to put a finger on. It could be that what you purchase here goes back into the local economy. It could be the great conversation you're bound to have with the owners. It could be watching Doug create a masterpiece. The dressing room was spacious and beautiful. The clothing was well made and stylish without breaking the bank expensive. The woman who was working told me they hold garments until the end of the day if I wanted to come back and try anything on without my baby girl present. I did wind up trying on a dress while I was there and the attendant was so helpful and kind not only to me but to my daughter. I find a lot of boutique clothing places really seem quite snobbish when I bring her in but this place was great. I'll for sure be back!
