As a knife aficionado I've been wanting to check this knife shop since I came to this area. I had read that they also do knife sharpening. The selection of Case brand knives is the biggest I've seen. Additionally you'll find you can buy or sell American Silver Eagle (.999) silver coins, silver ingots and coins from other countries. Of course there's a sharpening service which the owner will be happy to take care of for you. Mine came out as I knew it would, perfect edge and well sharpened. I was looking for a pocket knife for my hubby and a can of mace for myself when I came across this little place on University. The service was excellent and they had a selection of knives that blew me away. I told the sales person what I wanted to get for my hubby and what price point I had and he immediately recommended a quality knife that my hubby loves. I returned the next week to get another can of mace for a friend after she couldn't find a place that sold mace and was again greeted with friendly service. There is also a hot sauce section, which was strange to find, but cool. I got a couple of bottles and they were pretty good. The only recommendation I have is for them to carry a larger selection of kitchen knives and hot sauce. PS- they also offer knife sharpening! read more

First comment sums it up. Had great service the moment I walked in. Must have asked to see about 6 or 7 knives before I went with the last one I tried. It paid off! The gentleman was very kind and had no problem with showing me several knives as well as educating me about them. They have a really great selection of knives. All the quality brands. I found all the knives I was considering online from multiple websites and being able to see how they feel and look in person helped me get the knife I like the best. Been a coustomer for several years. Knives and More is top knotch. John eally tries to give his coustomers the best product at the best price. He also stands behind his product. The shop is easy to find off of University Drive. The guys were polite and friendly. They sharpened my knives while I stood there. It didn't take much time at all to sharpen my 2 knives - maybe 10 minutes, and the knives are very sharp. I also received great advice on how to maintain the edge. Went in this place looking for a Samurai sword for my daughter who is obsessed with everything Japanese. The "assistant boy" was rude, distant and amazingly ignorant on the subject. Everything I was shown was filthy (greasy/dusty), shabbily made and incredibly overpriced! If your interested in QUALITY steel, great service and great value go to St. Nick's in Parkway Place Mall.
