On my recent trip to the Twin Cities, I felt like I checked into various Kohl's stores as much as I did the hotel where I was staying. I love Kohl's. While dreaming about what stores to hit once I was able to travel again, Kohl's was on my mind. I arrived in the Twin Cities on Black Friday. I had never shopped in a store on Black Friday before, so I did so at Kohl's in Eagan. Later on that evening, I took advantage of placing an order online at Black Friday prices and picking it up at the store. It works for Canadians through the Kohl's app. For my order, most items were at the Eagan store (closest to where I was staying), but one item as only available for pickup at this Kohl's in Burnsville. I got an e-mail notification that my order was ready for pickup and headed over here. What is special about this Kohl's is that it has a Sephora store smack in the middle of it. It's a subset of a typical Sephora, but it does carry items that I buy regularly, from lip balm, to facial cleansers. I spent some time walking around the store. I loved the cool gift ideas section a lot. I ended up getting some goodies and giving them recently to a couple of friends as early Christmas gift exchanges. They were a hit! Specifically, the LED lights that you clip behind your shoes so people can see you at night and The Child comic coasters delighted my gift recipients. I did manage to get some items for me. I got a Mickey Mouse cap. I liked that it was tie-dyed and fit my large head. I also got The Child LED stocking that was neat. I paid for my items at the cashout area. You earn Kohl's rewards by having the barcode scanned from the app. I ended up going back to save 40% off on my next purchase along with $10 off my entire purchase. Nice! I paid with a credit card and the transaction was done. I then headed to customer service to pick up my order. All you do is have the person scan the barcode in your e-mail notification and the staff member fetches your order. So easy. I enjoyed using the pickup option a few times during my trip. There are washrooms in this store. They are next to the Hallmark cards section. The women's washroom was clean. This store has a lot of parking. I spent more time in Burnsville this trip and it was great dropping by this Kohl's. (449) read more

I (plus size woman) use to shop at Kohls regularly. Unfortunately, they decided to make over half of my clothing section into the clearance section. Most plus size clothing is only offered online only (shipping should be free, if not offered in the store) and the selection is terrible. Do better! read more

This is a good Kohl's for clothes shopping and bathroom items. If you're looking for a Kohl's stands out from the rest, you'll have to go to a different one. This is a typical one. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. I've been to many other Kohl's stores, and this one ranks as one of the better ones in Minnesota. I don't shop for much else besides clothes and bathroom items. But everything else I've seen in this store has been mostly good. The clothes and bathroom stuff is easy to find. They have a great variety for me to find. I always leave there happy with all I've been able to find. The employees, for the most part, have been delightful. Although there have been a few rude apples (mostly in the bathroom items area), the nice ones make up for them. That just means I have to avoid them. I like the location of this Kohls. It isn't quite as big as some of the other Kohls stores though. The staff is helpful. They also seem to have a lot of cashiers working to keep the line length down. A lot of the Kohls can have rather long lines. I do like the in-store Kiosks where if you can find your size/style in the store, you can order it in the store and have it shipped FREE to your house. It sometimes is difficult to get your in-store discounts on the Kiosk though. Kohls is also fairly lenient with their return policy, if you have an issue with something, the chances are that they will take it back without putting you through the wringer! Why does Kohl's cash expire ? You earn it you should've able to use it at least that same year! Same with rewards You earn them snd they take them away Getting a little fed up! Plus they take money off each item you buy so when you need to return something you loose your rewards. Why can't they only take off one item that your not sure of and let you get something. Else in its place Why don't the %off work on everything in the store The list us getting longer. This is still probably my favorite location even though Apple Valley beats them out in cleanliness. Most notably at this Kohl's is the service. Even if the cashiers are busy, you are still greeted. I believe I can identify the manager now as he is always the most pleasant and appreciative person I run into while shopping there. Even though the cleanliness of the fitting rooms and clearance area kind of dumps on this location, the selection and organization of the rest of the store is very well handled (especially men's business/formal wear). My biggest complaint here is the location of the service desk: Strategically stuffed in the rear of the store like Target's dairy section (you can't just run in to get milk. Go ahead, try! Secret's out!). It's a good thing we don't return or exchange much but still annoying when we do. Overall, The wife and I always find what we need at Burnsville and are proud to be Kohls MVCs! read more

Went to kohls on Black Friday to pick up a few things I needed. One of the items was a comforter for my son. Due to being Black Friday a lot were out of stock but I bought one for 50.99 down from 179. When I got home I noticed a hole in the seen of the comforter. It was the only size and color they had. So I called and asked if I could bring it in or take a pic to show hole and get a percent off. (My son really loved this). So I was given the manager, I told him the situation and before I could say what I wanted he offered 20% off my entire bill. I was happy, so though it wasn't an awesome experience at first, they made it up to read more

I was very impressed with my visit to Kohl's; I visited very close to closing and yet was given personal attention by everyone I encountered. I had asked for assistance finding an item and the associate I asked was not familiar with the department so she found someone who could help me. This person was Jo and she was a ROCKSTAR! Not only did she find the item I was looking for but also asked what I was putting in the picture frame and found me a steal of a deal on a related item (a new baby gate that I was in need of but didn't know it). She offered to take my items to the register while I finished my shopping. Once I got to the register the associates were more than willing to help and even offered to help me load up my car once I pulled it to the correct door as I was parked on the other side of the store. I also love saving more than I spend...it is a great ice breaker with my husband when I walk through the door..."honey guess how much I SAVED (not spent)!" :) read more

Bought a bunch of items items over the weekend, got home to see that they left an ink tag on some shorts. No big deal. Go back a few days later to get it off and bought a few more things get home again to find I have another tag on an item. Come on! These tags were very visible too! Impossible to save anything - a $10 reward for spending $50 should not have expiration date. Got a $10 reward for my birthday and go to use it thinking it would come up when I use my Kohl's card-NOOOO. Email did not say you could print off coupon on computer as I don't have a smart phone. Yesterday I go with a coupon that says save $10 when you spend $50 on home goods. 2 mattress pads for 49.98 and I could not get the $10 off-for 2 pennies are you kidding me!!!! The cashier goes well go find something for $5. I said if I go get something I DON'T need for $5 I'm not saving $10! Like Kim B my card no longer exists and will never step into Kohl's again! read more
