There is a light blue natural zircon stone in "Hope"... light blue for prostate cancer ( one of the two cancers my husband has fought), as well as being my husband's birthstone. Etched on the back of the pendant is a Cancer Awareness ribbon. I am delighted with the result and craftsmanship of this piece. It holds a lot of personal meaning. There is no doubt I will be coming back to this location for jewelry repair, commissions, or gifts.

Walking into this place I felt like I was transported back home to Portland, in the best way. This is a lovingly curated shop, complete with little sayings on each of the price tags that talk you into at least trying the pieces on. One of my favorite tags read; "A maroon pleated maxi dress. Be the star you know you are!" It's like I was shopping with my most supportive and creatively inspiring girlfriends. Beyond that the space is huge, so although the shop has SO many pieces, it never feels crowded. Everything is meticulously organized by color and category (sweaters, formal wear, aprons, etc.) and instead of feeling overwhelmed, it's easy to find what you are looking for. I was shocked to find this place had such low reviews; I found it absolutely refreshing to find such a beautifully curated shop with clothes and jewelry that really spoke to my interests. Most of the one star reviews said they felt ignored when they visited, and maybe that's where I differ from other shoppers as I prefer to take my time and have the space to do so. When I started a conversation with her, we had a lovely chat and she was very warm and kind. I am tempted to keep this gem to myself but my conscience won't let me do that...this is a place you should definitely make a regular haunt.
