It has been such a long time since I visited Kohls. I decided to knock out two things on my list, purchase a mattress topper and return items to Amazon. First let me say I enjoyed being greeted by Ms Gladys. She seem like she was happy to see me walk through the door and provide directions to the return area. The Amazon area was organized and very efficient. I was not ready for the 25% coupon I received from Kohls for using their Amazon return process. As if this day could not get any better, the mattress toppers were on sale and located next to Amazon returns. I made my sale selection and used my coupon. I saved over $250 and received Kohls dollars to use in the future. Needless to say, I ran out of the store just like that lady on the Ikea commercial. I was not ready for those type of discounts. Now I have put Kohls on a weekly schedule to shop. read more

It's one of the cleaner Kohls locations in the area, employees are readily available in the event that I have questions and the clearance sections are usually well-organized! TODAY, I was approached by a Kohls employee who gave me an on the spot gift card for $50. I thought it was a joke but it wasn't. I went to the Kohl's on Jefferson Davis Hwy on 7/20/20 to complete 2 returns, 1 from an online order & 1 from an in store purchase. I placed both bags on the counter and stated I had two returns and Cat (the associate at Customer Service) proceeded to tell me that before she could continue with my return I needed to take everything out of the plastic and throw the plastic away. So in other words, I have to do Cat's job for her before Kohl's can do what they are supposed to for me as a customer. I took the plastic off all the items & threw it all away. First and foremost, it would have been nice if Cat had asked me nicely instead of commanded me to do this for her. I stated to Cat that everything the plastic was in had touched the plastic so this procedure seemed ridiculous. Cat proceeded to make a "hmm" sound. She stated that's the procedure here at Kohl's. I informed Cat that I have returned items recently to 3 other locations (where I purchased the items) & not 1 associate asked me to take anything out of the bag much less throw the bag away myself. Cat made the "hmm" sound again. So I thought well I guess she couldn't possibly get any ruder, but I asked to speak to a manger at that point. Tim James came out and I proceeded to tell him about the situation and how absurd it seems that I have to do her work for her when the plastic touched every item anyway & she was touching the items. Tim James proceeded to tell me that was Kohl's policy and it was about her safety. How can it be about safety when the plastic already touched everything? So I just asked for his name and Cat's name so I could make a complaint. As I am turning to walk away Cat proceeds to tell me that I still need to throw away the Kohl's plastic bag and I stated that it seems like just pure laziness for her to not be able to throw away a plastic bag and I am not going to do it for you. Of course she made the "hmm" sound again. Unreal. I went to Kohl's to do a return and ended up doing half the work for a bad mannered associate without getting paid. I work two jobs and 1 has been part time for the past 5 years at a billion dollar retail company where we wouldn't even begin to tell customers much less ask them " Well you have to do this for me before I can do what I am supposed to for you". Our customer service would be completely wrecked. I hear a lot of complaints from other people about Kohl's conduct, but have not experienced it until now & it definitely makes you not want to shop there in the future. read more

Me: "I brought a pair of dress pants for dinner tomorrow night" Wife: "What? I only brought jeans!" And with that, we stopped at Kohl's on Black Friday while on the way down for a late Thanksgiving dinner at my parents. It was the afternoon, so not very crowded, but still found plenty of deals. A couple of pair of nice shades for $12, a nice pullover jacket - definitely got better deals here than at any other Kohl's I've been to. Just your average kohl's shop. The only downside is theyre junior dressing room doors are broken. With the others on the fritz as they dont ever look to be cleaned. This is where me & my daughter always go and theyve been broken for over a year. Suprised they still haven't fixed this. read more

I hadn't been to khols in a really long time but was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I got a pair of Mudd jeans which I really like & a couple shirts. And they weren't ridiculously priced either. I also got some cuddle duds sheets for Christmas which are awesome. If there was a kohl's closer to my house, I'd go more often. read more

Don't use their in store shipping. When you go to pick up items they can't find them. Also they are doing away with gift boxes due to environmental concerns. Think it's more of a cost savings for them. read more
