Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop is hidden among several antique and vintage stores so if you are into that type of thing you can kill several birds with one stone. Children's wear is my love language so when I walked in and found several well organized racks dedicated to children's clothing I was immediately in love. I only had ten minutes to browse before heading home but in those ten minutes I was able to find an entire collection of Beaufort Bonnet items in pristine condition. Even better, they rung up an extra 65% off so I was able to get six items for less than the price of one item. I briefly had a chance to checkout the other racks but I found a whole selection of designer women's stuff with brands like Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitizer. If you ever want to dress like a Southern belle but are on a budget -- this is your spot! Also, the shop people are super, super nice which is a huge added plus.

We just happened to be wandering Fredericksburg on a Sunday afternoon and saw this store and went in. We were immediately greeted and given a quick rundown of the store. They had dresses for expectant mothers, they had dress pants, and other nice maternity clothes. They had a lot of cute kid stuff. Gentlemen, if you're not so excited to be shopping for maternity clothes --they did have little seating areas --and a restroom! A restroom is a silly thing to add, but not a lot of the stores in Fredericksburg had restrooms and after perhaps drinking a little too much soda it was nice to find one! This is a great store --and if you are pregnant/planning to start a family or perhaps just had a child --this store is a must visit while you're in Fredericksburg!

Here's my experience: I hadn't been in an Old Navy in many years, but today my sons all needed work clothes, khaki pants and black pants and black shirts. My friend said to try Old Navy and I'm so glad I took her advice! It was very easy to find everything my boys needed right away, because the store is organized in a highly intuitive manner. While my sons were trying on pants and shirts in the fitting room, my daughters and I noticed the large selection of beautiful, soft, creative and inspiring T-shirts for girls. I like the nature scenes, social justice & unity art, and good old fashion peace & love designs on many of the shirts for kids. And the prices ($5 -$7) were just right. We started stocking up. Around this time an employee, Christine ("Chris") gave a friendly query as to if we were finding everything all right. I laughed that we came in for work pants and now I had an arm load of shirts and leggings for my girls. That's when Chris told me about the loyalty program. Since I haven't been to Old Navy in years, I didn't have that yet, and she was able to sign me up right there w her little gadget, which was so cool and convenient because I got credit right away with this purchase and didn't even have to leave the table I was rummaging through. So all in all I'm very impressed with the customer service, the layout of the store, the selection of kids clothing, and the prices. I will definitely be back, especially now that I have Old Navy bucks to spend!

Service was friendly, and the value was great when compared to other thrift stores in the area.

It was mid November,my Husband and I went to Gabe's hoping to score some nice Christmas gifts. Find we did! Our cart was literally piled full of merchandise we were going to buy. We went to check out and the line went way into the store itself. There were 25-30 people ready to checkout! What a joke! There was ONE CASHIER for all these people. The cashier wasn't in any hurry at all! She was taking her sweet time checking people out. When it was clear we would be in line for at least an hour we just left our cart and left the store! Fast forward a couple months and once again we went to Gabe's for some good deals. NOT a good idea! Once again we went to checkout and we encountered the same damned thing! I don't know if I'll ever shop there again! It's a shame bc I spent a lot of money there!
