The upholstery and decorating fabrics aren't the latest, but some of us aren't really into the gray and pastel with black scene. Farmhouse and French decor is becoming tired, anyway. The prices are excellent. Masks are required while in the store. The staff isn't overly friendly, but not rude, either. I have to say the…read moreScout knife that is produced is a top-of-the-line option for anyone looking for a good, concealable fixed place. The fact that all of their products are 100% American-made speaks well of the company. However, their newest product, the E-Vac, could use some improvements. The bare metal grip has a slick surface and is hard to grasp in wet environments. The thickness of the blade's spine, while concealable, does not match other knives of similar design on the market today, such as the Cold Steel Tiger Claw. The knife is somewhat difficult to draw from the sheath and almost impossible to return to the sheath without a lot of attention. This is being marketed to Law Enforcement as a "backup weapon," but there is no valid training nor any product manual created to support that. They do offer classes for the item, but those are in limited situations. The product does come in several colors and themes, including a double holster option in which two knives are opposite each other. I hope they will continue to refine this item in future production runs. Currently, their website domain name is for sale, which makes one question the future of the company. They did offer gunsmithing and a variety of mods for the AR platform.
