Awful customer service: AGAIN! I tried to return my Amazon return at Kohl's, a store where my family has shopped and worked and actually managed over the years. *No readable signage up front, no employees to be found, so I followed the signs for returns and exchanges. * There was a long line: two of three service clerks left, although there was a line. * I finally reached the clerk: she said I had to go to the back of the store to return the items. No apology. The people behind me were also upset because they had been waiting in line also for the same reason. No apology. * I told her the package contained all the info she needed to process the return. I was in too much pain due to (I listed the issues) after the wait, and the walk to continue, (still no apology or help) left the package for her to process with all the info needed, and went home. * It disappeared. Amazon did not receive it. I called the store, explained the situation, and they said they'd look into it. Amazon still has not received it. I received a phone call message marked 'spam' from an unlisted, unknown number with someone who said they worked for Kohl's. Although the number was unidentified, I called anyway. *The person said they found it, it was in the back of the store, and I could come back in and process it. They won't process it, although all the paperwork is there (bar codes, shipping label, phone codes, etc. He will have to ask management if he is allowed to provide customer service. Yes: a few years ago, the management was much better, they cared about the customers, the clerks were trained in customer care and service. No more. I recommend Wal-Mart for better service or shop online. Yes, I am seriously old-fashioned. I believe in customer service, or at least people who understand. I can see why the masses are moving toward more online stores. read more

wow just wow. This is a great store for so many great reason. My sweet grandson Bart wanted to get a couple swim suits before summer. We went their and there was so much selection. As some of you know Bart is about to become a teen. So of course he wanted some purfurme to impress the ladies. Me and Bart were highly satifised and we would love to come back. This Kohls just changed their checkout/returns line to a one lane amusement park style line. There were two people working, so I (along with 30 of my closest friends) stood in line to make a return for TWENTY minutes. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to rethink it. I would typically shop the store for a bit & usually spend money. NOPE, not today! There is NO WAY I am wasting 20-30 more minutes of my life in line waiting to make a purchase. They are going to lose a LOT of business/customers due to this bad idea. read more

I love the cleanliness of this store and the people that work here, but I absolutely hate the new checkout line. All Kohl's returns, Kohl's online big item pick ups, all Amazon returns, and all Kohl's merchandise now go through one ridiculous line. There are never more than two check out registers and many times there is only one person checking everyone out. I have shopped here since it opened, but until the checkout is redone to it's old system, I will go to other stores. read more

I do not like how Amazon returns moves weekly through the store and I have no idea where to adventure to to find the return center. Dawn at your customer returns is so rude and very unhelpful! Had an Amazon return that said go to whole foods once she scanned the QR. Dawn could have said to just change where to drop it off (I figured it out once I got to the car) but instead I decided to go somewhere else. The staff at this store work continue to be incompetent and very slow. No sense of urgency when there is a long line. They will take at least 60 seconds to bag one item and continue to have lengthy small talk with customers. Also, every time I walk into the store, the Amazon return locations is different. How annoying and what a waste of time to walk around. The Amazon return person is also very incompetent and extremely slow. I understand and respect hiring the elderly for jobs but please make sure their minds and bodies work enough to do the job. From now on, we will pay extra and return items at UPS. Not worth the unnecessary long wait times. read more

Let me first remind everyone Kohl's lost a class action lawsuit in 2019 for deceptive sales practices. Kohl's was found to have fabricated "original prices" then listed the item on sale at full retail. Kohl's ended paying out $6.15 million dollars in fines. read more

I like shopping at this store it carries a variety of merchandise. I never buy anything at full price in this store because everything goes on sale for at least 30% off or more eventually. The problem with the clothes is once they've been washed more than twice they shrink and fit in correctly. I like herring my athletic wear here as I can get it at an affordable price. The store is generally well kept and organized except occasionally there are clothes left in the fitting room and racks in disarray. Generally the staff is knowledgeable and helpful but during the holidays not as much. read more

Went there to buy a tie, Registers were full of people so I went to the jewelry counter to purchase my tie and was told that because I was at the jewelry counter I couldn't purchase my tie there because they only sell jewelry at the jewelry counter so I proceeded to put my tie on the counter and I left the store and intent on never shopping there again. Kohl's How I love thee!!!! I love getting a good deal and that is what I always get at Kohl's! This week I got a coupon in the mail good for 30% off of anything! Wow!!! I really love the way the store is laid out. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean and organized. The household section is my favorite with it multitude of picture frame selections! And, I have never had a problem returning anything for any reason...even it I forget my receipt. That is true customer service! read more

Kohl's Dept store is a nice place to shop as they have affordable prices on clothes. You have to be patient but you can find real deals on brand names here. I've mainly shopped for kid's and men's clothes and have been able to find good discounts. take your time to look around and see what brands you like. Kohl's may not have high end brand names but they have a good selection of moderate well known brands and store brands that have some good selections. To me it's clothes that look good regardless of brand names, and I have found some nice store brands for big discounts. read more

Some staff here can be quite friendly and some can be very unpleasant. I was purchasing stools tonight and specifically asked if they would price match their own website and the employee said yes (it was a 20.00$ difference between store and website) once we got to the counter a very unfriendly staff member stated that they absolutely do not price match their website (THEIR OWN COMPANY WEBSITE) because it's "different" than the store. Very unfriendly and very poor customer service. What store doesn't price match their own website when most stores price match any stores website even amazon?! read more

I am very disappointed in Kohl's! I had a wonderful experience with a cashier there who convinced me to sign up for a Kohl's card because I could pay for my purchases at home on line using my credit card. That is not the case. You can only pay off a Kohl's card with a debit card. I am very disappointed in a blatant lie. He had worked there for many years and should have known the truth. I called customer service to explain the situation but they said there is no system in place to allow a credit card payment. They did nothing to appease me. If you truly use your credit card as I do for all purchases, know that you cannot make a credit card payment on line. I hope this saves some people my frustration. I will never shop Kohl's again. read more

I went in for shoes for my son starting a new job. I was having a hard time finding sizes. A lady working the shoe department I think her name was Jackie, was fantastic. she was very knowledgeable and had worked in the shoe department for years. she not only help find sizes in all the shoes I was interested in, she suggested a pair I wasn't even looking at. I bought them and they are my sons favorite pair of shoes. My son has a spine condition and its very hard for him to stand and walk. read more

My experience with Kohls was ok until I had a terrible cashier today. She had black hair and seemed sick. She almost missed the security tag that was on one of my shirts. She was absolutely rude and I have her name so I will be calling the Kohls corporate office tomorrow to report her. I LOVE this Kohls!!!! I've always been given the utmost respect & friendly service from the professional & courteous staff at this location, but tonight they really outdid themselves! I recently got new laminate flooring, and with three pets, my current vacuum was simply not doing the job. I re-searched for days for a quality, lightweight vacuum within my budget, when I came across the Shark Ultra Light Bagless Upright Vacuum (model: HV301). Thankfully Kohls carried this model. However, I found the vacuum at a lower price at Lowe's. I called the Kipling store and spoke with a male employee who confirmed that they price match & that I'd get an extra 20% off for the Friends & Family event, PLUS I'd earn Kohls Cash! It was a no brainer! Upon arrival, I searched the vacuum cleaners and could not find one. Associate, Catalina, went above and beyond, and finally found one tucked away in their warehouse. She graciously carried the vacuum box to customer service for me. Although it's not in their policy to combine price match and coupons, manager Ellen was kind enough to make an exception since I was quoted such over the phone. Talk about keeping your customers happy! Associate, Jenny, rung me up with a smile, and thanked me for shopping with them. I work in retail and I know the importance of good customer service, so when I experience something great, I want to share it with the world! I just spent about a 1/2 an hour in the checkout line. The only cashier kept calling for help over the intercom and what looked like a manager (black hair and a beard) kept walking around and did nothing about it. I finally decided the return counter showed more promise and got in line over there. When my turn was up one of the two cashiers closed and the other one went in the back room. He finally came out and helped (if you can call it that) me. Clearly the guy waiting on me hated his job. He didn't welcome me, apologize for the wait, nothing. Not even a thank you for your business when I left. I don't blame the cashiers, I blame the management for not effectively managing and supporting their staff. I don't have this experience with the Kohl's on Quebec in Highlands Ranch so clearly it's a lack of leadership in Ken Caryl. Those managers should be ashamed of themselves...Worst.Customer.Service.Ever! read more
