Did some Christmas shopping on a Saturday in the afternoon and it was busy, unsurprisingly. I did some browsing and was able to find items for a couple of people on my list. The men's section has some fun,unique gadgets and novelty merchandise, of which I selected a few. There are some discounts throughout the store, making things more reasonably priced. I do have a Kohl's charge card, so I had my 40% off coupon ready to go in the app. Always nice to see how much you saved on that receipt. This was my first visit since the checkout area has been altered. It is now similar to some other retailers, a winding line that has customers corralled into a path surrounded by more stuff to buy. I don't love it, but it is effective seeing as how I grabbed an additional item. I believe 7 registers were open. There was a wait to get there, though. A manager apologized for the delay. He helped direct customers to the next available register. Angie, the associate who completed my transaction, was very friendly and upbeat. I came here to do an Amazon drop off. Ended up getting a coupon and browsing around. I found some really cute stuff and they were on clearance for a great price. Some of the stuff on full price is a bit pricey for me, however they do have quite a selection. It's a pretty big store so if you have the time I would recommend just walking around the entire thing and taking a look at all the different items they have. My husband loves to get his business pants here. They're a little on the pricey side but they do last him at least a couple years. Old King Kohl is a greedy old soul! Kohl's is no longer Cool. Was it ever, really? Maybe it wasn't cool, but I do own a lot of things I purchased here. I used to find lots different styles of shirts, shorts and shoes (The 3 S's that make most of this S's wardrobe). Lately, I go and leave empty handed. The Clearance used to be racks and racks of stuff, but again, not much. I'll probably use this solely as an Amazon Return place and browse while I'm here trying to find some of the stuff I used to buy. I've been to this Kohls a few times and it's always, always clean, well lit and organized. The service is always on point, the staff is ready to assist. They walk you over to what you're looking for instead of pointing. The selections, depending on you're looking can be hit or miss. I have had luck with linens and pillows, jewelry and graphic Tees. I never used to understand how people shopped at Kohls's all the time because I found it to be very expensive. However, if you check out their clearance and take advantage of their Friends & Family promotions that happen a few times a year then you're really getting a steal. I have purchased $60 blazers for only $10 and $30 cardigans for only $6. There is definitely a strategy to get the best deals here and getting Kohls's cash on top of that (depending on how much you spent in the 1st place) is an added bonus on wanting to go back. Now the ultimate bonus is that Kohls offers the option to return Amazon packages there. It's so quick and easy and makes it possible to kill two birds with one stone. Kohl's sporadically have decent deals and their clearance rack often holds some significant price reductions, however, I feel this brand has lost its sight of its original target market, that if a store geared to compete against other price conscious stores. Recently we had to return some items, both Amazon returns and a Kohls online order and the experience was so smooth, we were thankful for this option. We were especially happy with the friendly associates who assisted us. Our family had several Christmas gifts that were either duplicated or not as expected so we decided to return them at the same time. We were fortunate to have the option to return multiple items at Kohls at the same time. The customer service desk was not too busy when we stopped by, so we were attended to immediately. The employee was also extra helpful at assisting with a heavy item. We decided to stay and shop a few toy items to replace the returns for my granddaughter and appreciated the selection was still good even after the holidays. However, when given the chance we'll pop in and look around. I do like their home decor and kitchen areas. This location was well kept with merchandise organized and clothing size ordered. Sales were clearly marked and clearance sections had large signage. I found a few clothing items I wanted for an upcoming trip and checkout was easy. They always ask about the store card, but that's their job. I just say no. I did get store cash for the next visit since I do since over the needed amount to earn money back. Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 17/100 I visit this Kohl's quite often since it's near where I live. Kohl's is another department store, but with great quality products. A bit expensive if you are not looking out for their special deals, discounts and/or coupons. Keep in mind that most of their items on the "expensive side" are great quality products. Needless to say that I always check out clearance or sale racks if I don't have a special and limited-time coupon or discount. On the other hand, I've never had an unpleasant experience in this store... they have friendly customer service, easy returns and a great rewards program. Finally, I visit this store mostly when I'm searching for a special something as a gift (they have awesome gifts, specially in the men's department, for under $20.00) and when I want to get Juan (my significant other) a nice shirt or funny and geeky t-shirt. Kohl's is my favorite place to shop, online as well as this location! I get the best deals! I've been to a couple other Kohl's locations (Oviedo & Coconut Creek), and this one is the best by far. The team at this location is always super-friendly and helpful. The store is clean and organized, especially the fitting rooms. Signs clearly state prices and discounts. Their clearance section is always full of awesome finds! I also love shopping online and picking up in store. The process is so quick and easy. It's nice that I can swing by after work and pick up my order. There's also designated parking spots for in-store pickup customers up front, and they're always available. I discovered Lauren Conrad's line here. Now, it's my favorite brand to shop for clothes and jewelry. The Sonoma Goods candles are another favorite of mine. Just saved 187.90 on my purchase of 2 beautiful tops, dressy type jacket, tunic sweater & very comfortable pair of sandals all for less than $30. The store is clean & the staff helpful. Chain Store - What can you say ? They are all pretty much alike but this location is a bit larger and seems to cary a bit more selection because of it. The store is usually pretty clean and organized and the extended hours make it convenient to shop. There is almost ALWAYS a coupon available through there APP, or Newspaper flyer/AD or even a simple google search you can usually find a 10-20% off. Associates here have always been helpful when I ask for assistance and pleasant at the registers. Like many Kohl's locations this Waterford location has many upsides. A very large parking lot, many different departments to shop in and deals all around. I was enticed to go when I received a 15% discount during tax free weekend. There were many sales going on within the store. Unfortunately I feel like the women's section is much larger than the men's but there is still a nice amount of options for men. The store can be very pricey if you're not selecting sale items. The changing rooms were clean and uncluttered. I was able to use my discount without any problems. The only issue I encountered at this Kohl's location was one of the pair of pants I had did not have any tags and the cashier at checkout could not help me nor the associate in men's. I was redirected to customer service where I was greeted and offered help without a hassle. While the process took longer than I would have liked the associates gave zero frustration with the problem and had a positive attitude the whole time despite it being closing time and I'm sure they wanted to get out. In the end they were able to get the appropriate price for my item and I left a happy customer! read more

Kohl's has really good deals sometimes, especially if you sign up for the e-mail offers. There are times they'll send you $10 in Kohl's cash plus you can use an additional 15 or 20% discount. On one occasion I was able to purchase a pair of Jeans that were on sale for $21 and after my discount I only paid $6. This past memorial day they kinda had the same thing going on and what would have come out to $26 only cost me $13. Gotta watch it for the coupons and sales they've got going on, you can get great bargains, otherwise it can be pricey. There are some great deals to be had at this store, especially when taking advantage of clearances, Kohl's cash, coupons/sales, and the Kohls credit card. I just went on a shopping binge and revamped my work wardrobe for the winter, and have gotten compliments at the office over my new clothing. Business casual attire can be a challenge for me, but thankfully they had a large selection of petite work pants (I'm a short girl and I just don't have time to hem clothes). This store has almost everything. Gift cards, makeup, jewelry, household items, etc. I have never had a problem with the staff and every associate I encountered has been friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that I can rarely if ever find shoes here. Over the years I have shopped at this location, I never have any luck finding shoes that fit. The shoe section always seems disorganized, the sizes are always mixed up, and the selection of sizes available for people like myself with wide feet are very poor to nonexistent. I guess we are a tiny percent of the population though because that seems to be a problem almost anywhere these days, but it's really frustrating to admire rows and rows of beautiful shoes and not one is your size. read more

Most of the workers at this Kohls location are very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately a management team member that goes by Lu Lu had a terrible attitude with me twice now. I am a MVC at Kohls and hardly ever shop anywhere else. I love Kohls.... But she is the reason I haven't been shopping lately. I wanted to do the survey, but misplaced my receipt . I hadn't been to a Kohl's since I lived in the midwest, I had some time to kill in the Waterford Lakes area so thought I'd check it back out. It's a pretty standard department store, focus is mainly on clothes but you have jewelry and home goods mixed in too. My focus was on clothes on this trip. You'll find the usual suspects as far as designs go, Levi, Lee, Dockers, Sag Harbor, but also some bigger designers like Vera Wang. What caught my attention is that in the regular Women's dept, the sizes go up to 18. That's pretty cool. There is a section for big girls too, it's smaller section, but the designers are the same. For the petite girls, your section was double what I've seen elsewhere. Definitely check it out! The sale rack is where's it's AT! 50-80% off! Can't beat it. Ultimately, I tried a bunch of stuff on but left empty handed. Nothing really grabbed me... but I'll give it whirl on my regular rotation. read more

I have been shopping at Kohl's for several years now. I have finally decided to take a couple of minutes and tell the world what I think of them. For the brands of clothing I prefer, they have several of them. Since I am a pretty savvy shopper, I know when the prices are good or bad for what I buy. The other day I needed to add some shorts and polos to my wardrobe. They just happened to have my preferred brands 50% off and I chose to stock up. I could have gone up the road to the mall and paid more for the exact same items but.. "You don't get rich by making more... You get rich by spending less..." I have been shopping at this store for close to 6 years now and I do not recall a single time I was treated unprofessionally by a staff member. As outspoken as I am, I would tell you if that had ever happened. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I need assistance finding something specific. Do they carry ALL of my preferred brands... NO Am I OK with that... YES I go there for very specific items and have yet to have overpaid for the particular items I seek out there. Would I recommend them? ABSOLUTELY If you are a savvy shopper like me, watch for their sales and stock up! UPDATE 7/9/2016 I have been back several times but see I have forgotten to check in. The Waterford Lakes Kohl's the associates there for the most part are rude they don't want to help you they don't want to use your coupons I called one time about my Kohl's cash because I had back surgery and they didn't want to exchange it , how could I go ahead and shop after I had back surgery? I was out $75 but I spent the money and earn the cash it should never expire if you earned it up north they swap it out with no hassle no hassle keyword no hassle here they said that the computers won't allow them to do it it's funny that it works up there. I think all consumers should be smart and maybe pick one day to NOT SHOP there and maybe this would show them we're not stupid we know the pricing game they play and how they mark things up with no or less sales when they have coupons and Kohl's cash and we are done with terrible customer service. They really need to work on their customer service and the attitudes that they have in the store and realize that without their customers they wouldn't be here! they've forgotten when they first opened they were really great they tried to help you they were all smiles they greeted you when you came in the store that was just to get you in and get you a credit card they don't do any of that anymore. And yes if you ask to speak to a manager you are refused and or he's not there and you never get a call back because they don't care. A lot of us were so excited for them to come down here and we've been let down by them. They'll soon realize that if we keep backing away they're not the greatest store all the hype has worn off and if they don't earn your business then stop shopping there because they owe us a service too not just the other way around!! It's also the least friendly handicap store I'd like to know why they don't have scooters I'd like to know why they're shelving units and their racks are so close together all the time they're rarely 36 inches apart and although they say they'll move the racks for a person you have to wait forever to get that done and then it's a big huge spectacle because you're having the racks moved it shouldn't be like that everybody in the store should be able to shop freely without it being a huge ordeal for them and there should be scooters for everybody to be able to shop easily in the store all stores should have to have scooters for handicapped people there's one manager named Rob there who's always rude I don't know why he's still there and when I talked to a manager about him he's like oh he has lots of bad days but why do you keep him if he has lots of bad days he's not a happy person he said why would you keep that person if he's not a happy person this is retail you have to be a people person!! I was about go use my 15% discount coupon..when the lady in line in front of me who just checked out said.."you can use my 30% extra coupon I have" The cashier flipantly said no "you can't its against kohls policy to do that.".we both looked at him puzzled and said "really..you won't let us do this" He said nope. I have been a long time Kohl's shopper and to say they don't benefit significantly from my love of shopping would be a serious understatement. However, today, I attempted to return a couple items to Kohl's (purchased just yesterday), tags still on - never worn, receipt in hand. Their "no hassle" return policy is suddenly a royal pain in the ass. The items were charged to my bank card. After the merchandise was taken, I was told "Ok, a refund will be mailed to you by check in 7-10 days." WHAT?? Kohl's took money from my account immediately on purchase. What reason could they possibly have for not giving my money back when they had returns in hand? They get the merchandise AND my money...and can turn around and sell it to someone else later today, so that they actually have the money twice while I'm without for a week to ten days? I don't think so. Called the 800# I was given. The person there couldn't provide any explanation either. I asked to speak to a manager....5 times and was refused with, "they won't tell you anything different than what I'm telling you." FIVE TIMES I was refused a manager.
