I got takeout from Bar Koko and the staff was quite helpful, and the food was unique and good. I'd definitely go back here.

Hot take: I think it's better than Nino Gordo. There was literally food on my face but the food was so good that the bigger concerns was getting another bite in mouth so I didn't wipe it off. - Drinks (basil lemonade and gin gimlet) - 12/10 - Roti - packed a punch of flavor and was also a little spicy (which we have been missing in this city). Wish I could put this in my pocket and eat it later back in the US. I got a little mad at my boyfriend cuz he ate most of it the second night but it's okay cuz we ordered a second one because it was that good. - 13/10 - Tempura Pao - Good but not great 7.5/10 - Khao Soi - very spicy but also very good! 10/10 - Tuna salad - more like ceviche 11/10

My husband and I both ordered the Khao Soi and were glad to see it was vegetarian. It was delicious but so so spicy! We can handle Asian spice but this was next level. May be worth asking this to be made to your spice tolerance for this dish. The decor and ambiance was excellent, the food was tasty! Recommend overall.

She didn't come until 30 minutes later because she was doing other things. Finally when she arrived she didn't clean the table but instead asked us if we were ready to order. It took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The pho is probably the worst pho I've tasted in my life. The flavor is nowhere near how a pho should taste. Even the boxed stuff is better. The restaurant is modern looking but cleanliness can be improved.

We were greeted right away and got to choose our own seat, the menus are in Spanish and although they had a QR code for what I imagine is a menu in english, unfortunately it never loaded. The place was pretty much empty so we got our food pretty quick. I had the pho with beef, the broth was alright, it needed more flavor so I went ahead and added some condiments to my liking. I was surprised that my noodles were not spaghetti thin like I'm used to in the states, instead they were wide rice noodles which I normally have whenever I have Thai food with some veggies and rice. The pho was alright, I feel like I was chasing a flavor that never came, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great and for the price, I expected more because yes, it was pricey. Now the fried pork rolls wow, UH-MAY-ZING! They were rich in flavor, nicely golden , crunchy on the outside and a little chewy on the inside, just perfect, they came with lettuce leaves on the side and some kind of shredded pickled carrots and radish marinated in some sauce, that was sooo good too. Honestly I'd go to this place just for the rolls. For drinks, they had a list of wines, beer, sodas and lemonades. I was intrigued by the sparkling hibiscus and it did not disappoint, it was served with some slices of grapefruit and it was very refreshing, I would have loved if it was sweeter but that's just my preference. Our table had napkins/chop sticks, soy sauce and hot sauce in the middle for our consumption. I would probably come back for a quick bite with friends just to have the fried rolls and because the service was quick, I probably wouldn't have the pho anymore. Be mindful that it is pricey, specially for Argentina. I paid very close to what I would pay if I were to eat at a Vietnamese place in NY.

Now several reasons for the rating - 1) the hostess who seated us and all of the servers had no energy or smile. It literally felt like they were forced to be there 2) absolutely no help with the menu 3) we got vegan dim sums , bao and ramen. All of the bao, dim sums and noodles were uncooked. And there was no soy or any other sauce available for the dimsums or bao. Would not recommend this place at all.

The interior and decor of this place seemed really cute. The restaurant opens at 8pm and we got there around 8:30pm. The place was already packed and so we waited about 10-15 mins to be seated. The menu is pretty simple. They even have English menu on the backside. We decided on the #Huangbrothers Bao and #Keepitreal ramen. The Bao were pretty good although I would leave the pickles out of it next time. It was a weird mix. The real loser of the meal was the Ramen. The pork bone broth was underwhelming and my noodles were undercooked. I decided to take a chance and bit into the block of noodle but realized quickly that was a bad idea. When the server asked me if the meal was okay I pointed to the block of undercooked noodles and she just smiled and nodded. I blame the language barrier. Would probably skip this place next time. Don't be fooled by its cute interior.
