You also won't be pushed through the store and might not miss an item you would have picked up. I did the wait and made my way here after the crowd had thinned. I browsed the shelves and slowly made my selections. If you time it just right you might end up in the store with the kind people you shared the boat ride with. Prices are what you would expect from a souvenir shop. Not everything is of high quality here, but if you browse just the right amount of time you will find the high quality item you want. They do have self checkouts in here or you can go to the counter and be waited on. This store is also connected to the restaurant. You can enter from there or take the direct entrance from outside.

We had already done the Maid of the Mist boat tour on a previous visit, but somehow missed doing the Observation Tower. For this low fee, it was definitely worth seeing Niagara Falls, American Falls, Goat Island, and the downstream end of the Niagara River. Definitely worth the time to check out the view!

I decided I would go there and check them out to see what they had. When I walked into store there were two guys at the counter and neither one of them greeted me. Then this lady walks in after me and they immediately greet her. I turned around in shock and looked at them, then one of the guys proceeded to ask me if I needed any help. So, I told him no I'm good and walked out of the store. Why would I want to patronize a store when they can't seem to greet every customer. Nowadays, it's seems like people are more engaged in their phones at work than making sure they give every customer an exceptional shopping experience. It starts by greeting the customer the moment that they walk through the door!

My mother (who was a bit of a hippie but whatever) came to Buffalo (for about the 8th time) and this time I took her to the West Side Bazaar. I think we spent about 3 hours in there and I bought her about 60 dollars worth of stuff. Including various items from here, which she loved. Competitive prices and items that you absolutely will not be able to get anywhere else. In some cases, not even online. There's a whole world full out there of things you've never used, seen, bought, or tried, and the whole WSB brings a ton of them (both food and non food items) to our doorstep. It's only sad that in the entire 3 hours we were in here, my mother was probably one of only 20 people checking out the various stalls, and probably one of only 3 or 4 buying anything.
