So coming back here so many years later I finally made a purchase! While I would definitely say it is on the pricier side, I found one item that was a great layering piece and hit up the sale rack hard! They carry brands from all over the world. Some brands are upwards of $400, which I was not about to buy! The one brand they have that I love they said they're fazing out is Ryu. The store has a modern victorian vibe. Think uber girly, lots of lace, ruffles and super flowy. I only wish they had an online store because I'd for sure be buying stuff... At least cheaper or sale stuff!

Come for the vintage, skip the fashion designers and the don't be on the lookout for friendly customer service. You might find yourself having to loudly tell the customer service representatives "NO" because they definitely want you to buy, buy, buy! However, as overprices as the high-end fashion designers are in the front of the store, the vintage area in the back might be your pot of gold! Think "high end thrifting" and be on the lookout for their variety of shoes as well as clothes and beautiful coats! This is a little hidden gem and definitely worth a stop if you can get over the slightly unwelcoming staff.

I went on a weekday around lunch time and it was basically dead in the mall and definitely in the food court. I did see lots of empty storefronts as well, which seems to be a sign of the time for malls these days. The mall was very clean, very modern/up-to-date with the décor and a offered a comfortable, safe shopping experience. If you're in the area and need a mall to shop at, this would be the place and they would probably have what you're seeking.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a all about the shopping, history and lake time (it's named for a reason!); and as far as shopping goes, Irish Design should be one of your stops. Beautiful store chalk full of Irish (no surprise there!) products, many made from beautiful Merino wool: socks, hats, blankets and the most beautiful, thick sweaters you've ever seen. Also, a large assortment of scarves, jewelry and all your Irish needs. Whether you're looking for a present for yourself or someone else, if you're willing to open your pocket book VERY wide, this might be just the stop for you. Like most of the stores directly on Queen Street (the main drag in Niagara-on-the-Lake), Irish Design has its prices set high. Although, they DO have a "sale" section and remember, everything is listed in Canadian dollars. They accept credit, cash and US currency and have a lovely tea room, which I did not visit, in the back of the store (bathrooms only available for tea room patrons, no public store washroom!) Irish Design is also located near the [shopping] end of Queen Street, right before the residential strip, couple shops over from King George Theater. Last year I went to the store and tried on a bunch of shoes. I do always try and put the shoes in…read morethe boxes and put them back as best as I know how I never leave a mass because I am not inconsiderate. However, when I reach the front of the store, the woman who worked there behind the counter, stated that someone sure was trying on all of the slides. I left the store and proceeded to call her and let her know that it was very rude for her to say that right in front of me and then I tried my best to put them back the way I know how but I have a hard time sitting shoes on my feet so I have to try a lot on. I went to the store two days ago to purchase sneakers, and they were too big on me. I went back to the store and tried on a different size, and then those again, and kept repeating to see which size was more comfortable. I bought the shoes up to the register and she pushes passed my boyfriend to get shoe cleaner. Apparently there was a red mark on the bottom of the shoe and she said she needed to clean them because they were clearly worn. I told her I did not wear them. Maybe the bottoms got dirty from me trying them on in the store, but I didn't even wear them because they would've gave me blisters because they were too big. Then she told me they were definitely worn and I told her maybe it was from the people before me or from the floor at the store, she continued argue with me and was nasty. I have no had two incidents with this woman who works there. Her name is Stephanie. She should not be working with the public. I very rarely complain about someone but she is nasty every time I go in there and I sometimes still go in if the other nice woman isn't there working. the funny thing is when I first bought the sneakers. I told the other lady I was so glad she was there because the other lady is always nasty well lo and behold here she was being nasty again when I went back to exchange.
