I worked for this company for a couple of months. They painted themselves like they care about staff, but they do not. The lack of communication is abhorrent. The staffing issue is terrible and because of it the clients suffer from it. office staff is a joke, they are supposed to be out helping in locations when staff is short, but they do not. I have heard so many horror stories of employees getting stuck in houses for more than 24 hours because of staffing issues. When you complain about something it never gets dealt with, the care for clients is subpar. Not only that when you give your availability, they do not regard that at all. They gave me limited scheduling options because I had no drive even though there were locations where I didn't need to drive like swing shift. They made me do graveyard; I needed to work so I did it. I was recently recovering from an accident and they were aware. I asked not to be put in a heavy house, and what do they do, they put me at the most physically laboring house they have. I had to lift, pull, and do a lot of physical movements. as I was trying to recover. no regards for the health of the staff. When houses are exposed to covid, they would just send emails, but they would never be updated often. The lack of organization is sad. from all the people in the office you would think that there would be more organization and more communication. Half the staff work from home even though there was no need for them to do so. When they worked in office I was just as useless with them not there. The area managers were useless as well if your house manager was nice, you were lucky because most of them undermined staff and treated them like they were stupid. I have heard from multiple accounts of being disrespected by staff and nothing being done. The amount of power the nurse has is ridiculous, having to retake a test that I failed because of the wording and small technicalities. When I brought it up that I was done with my test she had said she would look over them when she was explaining the rules. When I was done with my test, I told her I was done and she replied that I failed. I had shown an office staffer that the answers were correct. not only that but she is also racist and unprofessional allowing her personal feelings to dictate people's employments when they have been nothing but an outstanding employee the year plus that they have worked there. This company is a joke, and I hope the clients there get the correct care they need and that they have someone on their side. read more
