My husband and I recently had the opportunity to visit the Cresswind community and explore several of the model homes. We absolutely fell in love with the Lila home! During our visit, we had the pleasure of working with Ms. Roseline S., who was absolutely AMAZING! She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions about the home and community. She truly made our experience enjoyable and informative. Our goal is to relocate to Florida following retirement in November, and after our visit, we are even more excited about the possibility of making this community--and hopefully the Lila--our future home. The houses are located in wet land and they are being built 5 a week. The crasftman is horrible. Just not worth the money! Look around and stop at any house that they are building. You'll have your answer to your questions! read more

I hope my review doesn't change!!! I really am hopeful that my experience with Kolter remains as amazing as it has been so far. We are purchasing in PGA Village Verano. We fell in absolute LOVE with their models and our sales rep Jill was such a pleasure to work with. Not only was she super patient in answering all of our questions, and calming our fears and apprehensions, she was also extremely accommodating. She answered my emails or text messages even after hours and she made me feel so at ease and comfortable during the process. I cannot speak enough good about her and the overall experience. Their models are gorgeous! The design experience takes place over 3 days and the design team were also very professional, patient, and accommodating. They even brought out champagne (and apple cider) for my family and congratulated us when we were done choosing our design choices. So at this point, I am impressed. I purchased a home at Astor Creek over a year ago. Luckily, Stacey Lichtenfels was my sales associate. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and extremely patient. Built a new house with Kolter, and the Workmanship and quality are extremely poor . They also misrepresented the neighborhood by Stating that all streets would have street lights , which not all do . I would not recommend doing business with Kolter ! Period . read more

New homes built by incompetent workers, wiring loss connections, molding partially caulked, unpainted walls, trim, crown molding. Cabinets out of alignment, molding attached with thin nails 1/8" and falling off. Flooring patterns not maintained. Crack/damage roof tiles. Inadequate tankless water heaters only supply 1/2 the house. Quality worse than a mobile home! read more

Just finished the 2 day design center at kolter for a Cresswind fl home to be built. The kolter designers were fantastic guiding us through all choices. Calm and reassuring when I got stuck they provided great choices. Heidi and Meredith were both stars. Could not have been better. Prices seemed reasonable below what the cost would be on the market. They disclosed the cost of each item along the way so no surprises Grateful to them! read more

Sent a letter to Bobby Julien, CEO of Kolter expressing my poor experience with their sales reps (some seem totally disinterested!), managers (Marc Friedman) and commission structure which prohibited us from using our realtor and not being able to purchase a Kolter home. Bobby or his office never responded, not even to acknowledge receipt of the letter. Very poor communication overall and terrible treatment of the potential buyer. We did find that their most basic upgrades are beyond reasonably priced, and that was also a deterrent in possibly purchasing a home with this builder. read more

They lure you in with beautiful models but their pricing does NOT INCLUDE such things as refrigerator, washer and dryer, basic flooring other than cheap carpet and many, many more upgrades costing thousands of additional dollars!. Regret buying in PGA Verano with Kolter!!!! We signed a contract to purchase a new home in February 2021 at PGA Verano, our contract states closing in January of 2022. As of January 2022 our home has barely been started, the slab was poured in October 2021 and since only the block has been placed on the slab. Our sales person Stacey Lichtenfels lied to us for months about the permit being ordered. We finally contacted the President Robert Rademacher in August 2021 after contacting the city and finding out our permit was never ordered from the city. With that delay we were told our home would be finished in March or April and then we were told our home would be finished in May 2022. Considering absolutely nothing has been done in the past 4 weeks I seriously doubt our home will be ready in May. Unfortunately we are stuck, but don't make the same mistake. read more

BEWARE! From the inept leadership to the very poor quality, buying a Kolter home is a mistake. As far as I know, every community they have built has had a lawsuit over poor quality. The issue with my interaction was due to corporate policy. During our first visit (6 months ago) we were working with a realtor as we had just closed on a home with Minto. We shared all the details with the front desk and continued with the visit. Carol helped us but did not disclose the fact that we would lose the ability to be represented by our realtor if we continued. We would have just come back another day, or called our agent to swing by if we knew that was the case. Fast forward to today, we are ready to purchase as my parents would fit perfectly in this neighborhood and we're forced to buy elsewhere as they would not budge from corporate policy, even if they made a mistake by not telling us about it. This is a great example of a company with a great product that ultimately didn't care about the customer's situation. Carol was more concerned about telling us that she did disclose it (there was 6 of us there on the first visit, she clearly didn't) than working with us to make a sale. We were so motivated to buy that we finally got in contact with a manager (by our request) and did not reach a good outcome. This is the type of experience that I hope you avoid. read more

I regret buying a home in PGA Verano. The community is beautiful and the sales team is fabulous, but the design process is a nightmare. I picked my upgrades on 2/12 and heard nothing for weeks. I had to call and email to get a list of my selections. After reviewing the selections, I needed to return to the design center to make some changes and finalize my options. I was told by manager Kristen Kindell that they were booked through August. She offered no solution, so I waited to see how they were going to build my home without me finalizing my selections. Two weeks go by and Melissa finally reaches out to me to schedule a follow up appointment. And they now have the audacity to mention that time is of the essence and we are working with a deadline. I also noticed that the prices that were in effect the day I made my selections were not the prices on the print out I received. Why? Because it took them until 3/10 to enter my selections in the system. That's quite shady and unprofessional. I'm really annoyed that I have to deal with all this drama. Building a new home is supposed to be a joyful experience. Take my advice and stay away from this builder. Finally, I'm actually not surprised that the 5 star review here is from their own employee, Melissa! Wow! read more
