I hired a lawyer to review a termination agreement a few years ago from Hawks Quindel. I went…read morethrough the intake process, got an offer for a lawyer to review the agreement and write a letter back to the company. They were professional and knew their stuff. I had never hired a lawyer before and it was definitely worth the money I spent. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reputable firm.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain if you and your family are indeed entitled to said benefits. Keep in mind that a denial is not a final determination, but you must act quickly to meet the strict deadlines and preserve your right to appeal the denial. I highly recommend attorney Jessa Victor, who provided masterful leadership on my case, but the successful outcome was truly a team effort. The team included associate Naomi Swain, law clerk Emma Basch, paralegal Hadley Bouchard, and legal assistant Dylan Grey, all of whom did incredible work handling the intense legal research, stacks of documents to review, and background details required for complex employer-sponsored benefit claims. Additionally, the office staff was efficient, communicative, and supportive. They delivered everything pertinent that Jessa Victor needed to successfully present the facts of my case and to clearly address where the benefits provider breached their duty. Consequently, I recovered the benefits I had been denied. I am profoundly grateful to the entire team for their hard work and dedication."

Been working with attorney Hazen for a while now. To say my divorce has been long, messy and drawn…read moreout would be an understatement but Ms Hazen has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I don't know what I would have done, or do, without all of her and her team's help and support. I have put full trust in her and she does not disappoint!

Despite being completely aware that my case stemmed from domestic abuse and alcohol problems, Dan often told me "I am not experienced with abuse". I begged and pleaded that he address and take action on the matter, as it is not something anyone should ever have to endure. There is no indication that the abusive narcissistic behaviors to me and the children, will ever cease let alone lessen. Throughout the 2+ years of working with Dan, I felt lost, overwhelmed, had an increase in anxiety, constant fear and no trust. I do not feel he helped guide me through the legal processes, purposes, options, expectations etc., often times failing to even inform or let me know of existence. Ex: I maybe heard the word- subpoena a few times ever in my life. Dan sure did share frustration that certain individuals would not testify but yet failed to mention there was such a thing as being subpoened. He misplaced my witness list, missed deadlines (yes this was also my responsibility when known), did not submit or follow correct processes for a few motions and did absolutely literally nothing for property division. No care in the world that I now endure more and more debt as one result while another is loss. Loss of pictures, memorable items, gifts from my children, etc I could go on & on, writing a book has crossed my mind but for now, I am filing a complaint with the State Bar against Attorney Dan Gartzke. Do NOT hire Dan Gartzke- I would not have him represent and fight for my pet bird.

Glorily Lopez is not your advocate…read more Expect the following: - Inflated billing practices - Excessive fees - Inefficient services provided - Unnecessary, unreasonable, and duplicative work When considering the reasonableness of your attorney's fees, you must ask yourself: Were the results obtained by the attorney generally considered successful, or within the reasonable expectations of the parties? Did the client receive a benefit from the services commensurate to the amount of compensation sought by the attorney? Did the client receive fair value for the services performed? Did the client have a reasonable expectation of a fee that would be charged, and if so, what rate and amount? Is the fee charged substantially more or less than the reasonable expectations of the parties? Did the client have any understanding as to the approximate amount of time which would be incurred? Was an estimate provided? If so, how does the fee sought to be charged compare with the estimate? What are the prevailing hourly rates in the legal community in which the services were performed? Did this representation involve peculiar expertise, beyond the capabilities of an average attorney? Is there any reason to believe that the attorney's services or the complexity of the matter required extraordinary effort or talent to justify a fee in excess of rates customarily charged by other attorneys in the community? Was the client kept reasonably informed during the representation of the services being performed and the charges incurred? The answer to the above in the case? NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NOPIDY NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE. F*ck no!

An incredibly underwhelming experience with Glorily Lopez…read more Her hourly rate is $230, for which you expect the level of professionalism and knowledge to commensurate with such a high fee. Incognizant of the sensitivity in the area of immigration law, I was bilked close to $7,000 to file* two forms, I-821D and I-601. *The term file is used loosely because none of the two forms were actually filed or completed. In my opinion, the fees charged were unreasonable, excessive, duplicative, and inefficient. Glorily did not accomplish my goals as a client, there were no results, and I received zero benefit from the services for which Glorily was compensated for. Instead of continuing to pour my funds into an endless pit, I decided to end her representation and obtained another attorney for a fraction of the fee and was able to prevail in my case. For all those unaware, there is a program within the State Bar of Wisconsin where you can confidentially elect to file a Fee Arbitration form to contest the fees. Here's the website: https://www.wisbar.org/forpublic/ihaveadisputewithmylawyer/pages/fee-arbitration-program.aspx The cost is as low as $25, depending on the fee in dispute. I would highly suggest partaking in this program, made available to anyone who has a fee dispute with their attorney.
