Blades is very attentive, she provides a lot of information on how to care for your hair, creates each style specific to your request, and makes sure that client is 100% satisfied. She also has her own hair collection and maintenance accessories. The salon is very nice, clean and professional. Blades has great customer service and is highly skilled. I would definitely recommend others to contact her for their installs.

Bless it... I am partially to blame for expecting as a walk-in client my stylist would be able to…read moreadvise on what would work for me. This is a quick weave spot and by quick I mean bring your hair, they sew and you're out the door, no consultation or real "hair care" intentions. Like a fast food version of a hair salon. The shop itself is adorable and in a stellar location. All of the stylists are extremely friendly and the shop was very clean. My only qualm is they're just not necessarily knowledgeable about different hair textures and hair care underneath the bundles. Again to be fair the hair I brought in was trash (basic outre, natural curl 1 solution pak $140 for 6 bundles)... I just wish they would've advised me it wouldn't work i/o collecting a quick coin for a trash install ($170 w/ tip). After waiting almost 2hrs my assigned stylist felt comfortable enough to take lunch (which I did not object to) and multiple phone calls during my session (which irked me) but didn't see fit to speak up along the way of the install. I cautioned that I did not want more than 2 packs single wefted, she proceeded to put almost 4!!! My leave out was abysmal and nothing I could realistically maintain given I am natural. My hair is also very thin around the edges. I left the shop with fairly high hopes (Saturday) but by the next morning my scalp was on fire itching and the braids were way too tight. Fast forward another 24hrs (Monday) and I'm in the first open salon chair getting the weave uninstalled (9am). Clearly I'm 90% at fault so this review is more of a warning if you are not familiar with sew-ins and managing leave-out and have high customer service expectations plan to spend more money somewhere else. I knew I had been all the way played when they were packing their bags to close before I even swiped my credit card and didn't even bother suggesting a follow-up wash / re-tighten, to leave a review, take a pic ect. I think we all knew it was awful and just wanted to be polite. I feel suckered out of the $170. Lesson learned.

I would recommend finding a 5 star place, because it makes a difference. The grade of hair you purchasing to get put in your head, should be a better quality or hair than you have, and you want a stylist who truly cares about their work and can recommend what might look good, or be flattering, not this salon. I would put photos up but I don't wanna be seen with this hair. They didn't help, they didn't make it right, they messed up my hair and she had no accountability at all, and was going to charge me another $300.00 to $400.00 to fix it. Where do they do that at? She said she did a good job and didn't think anyone would do better, I appreciated her confidence but yeah right, she offered NOTHING To help. I left her space in tears, and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone who is looking for higher end hair or service. When I booked the appointment it said with hair 200, with out hair 125, when I got there, it was different, and she didn't know where I got that deal from, but that that with the hair was going to be $600.00.

If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. The lack of respect, communication, and basic…read moreprofessionalism shown during such a simple situation was very disappointing. While I was in the shopping center today, I came outside to find a vehicle parked extremely close to mine, leaving very little room for me to safely access my car and remove it from the parking space. The salon was politely asked if the vehicle could simply be moved or repositioned. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and far less courteous than I would expect from anyone representing a business. There was no reason for such a simple and respectful request to turn into an uncomfortable interaction. The situation could have been handled calmly and resolved in less than two minutes. What made it even more disappointing was that this took place in front of paying customers. When you represent a business, the way you communicate with people matters just as much as the service you provide. The car was ultimately never moved. This was a small Kia, and repositioning it would have taken very little effort and immediately resolved the issue. Instead, a very simple situation became unnecessarily difficult. Nobody was asking for special treatment. The request was simply for enough space to safely access my vehicle and remove it from the parking space without risking damage to either car. When you operate a business in a shared shopping center, everyone you encounter should be treated with the same basic level of respect and professionalism, regardless of whether they are currently a paying customer. Anyone in that shopping center could be a future customer, referral, or supporter of your business. Whoever owns or manages this business should consider providing additional customer-service training to the staff, particularly around communication and handling minor situations professionally. Basic courtesy and respectful communication can go a long way and can easily prevent situations like this from becoming negative experiences. A two-minute act of courtesy could have prevented this entire situation. Professionalism is not only about how you treat someone while they are sitting in your chair,it is also reflected in how you treat people in everyday interactions. Based on my experience today, I hope this is something the business chooses to improve moving forward.
