We had gotten into town late, but that didn't stop us from checking out the local libations that were semi close to the hotel. we had stopped at a couple spots when I realized I hadn't ate and most likely should. The waitress in the place I was at said to go to the joint outside. I don't recall seeing the stand on the way in, but wow, it smelled very good as I walked out. There was a fella there working hard at the grill. I waited a minute as he seemed to be putting a fresh batch of things on the grill, having been just sold out by the last group of people. I wanted a burger or sausage but I asked him, "what's ready?" he replied all that's ready is hot dogs. I grabbed one. But it was a giant one, and he puts some peppers and sauce on there that really had it going. I ate that thing in no time. the service and food was very deserving of a solid tip. if you are ever hungry, especially late night, this is an excellent spot.

I went with the traditional Connecticut style roll served warm with melted butter. It was so delicious! It also had the right amount of lemon sprinkled on top. There were other menu items as well. I didn't get to try them. The pricing is high, but that's not unusual given the market price of Maine lobster. It was a good portion. There was an overflow of lobster from the split bun. I was very happy with my lobster roll. The service was pretty quick considering there is only one guy taking the orders and making the rolls. I didn't expect the roll to be packaged so neatly. They have their own branded lobster roll take away containers. Kerby's Nursery had tables and chairs set up in their garden. The ambiance was great! I just wish that there was another person taking orders. I did wait quite awhile for someone to greet me. Then again, the windows on the truck are either too high or I'm just too short. :-) I hope they will return to this location. There are so many menu items that I want to try. Will, the co-owner, blew a 4 way stop sign and could have hit me. I said "take your stops." This led Will into a furious rage. He stopped his car, put it in reverse, and had to have been going 50 MPH in a residential neighborhood. He chased me down to jump in front of my car. Will then proceeded to curse, yell, scream, call me racist and tell me he would beat me up. He also said he had a pistol on him and would use it. I have it all recorded. Even shared it with the police. Will curiosity had all of his business information on the side of his car so it was convenient to tell the police where to contact him. By the way, he even offers to deliver your meal with DoorDash! That is if you want a violent man who's set off by the smallest of comments coming to your home and knowing where you live. Guess that's how he intimidates his customers into tipping him and paying his outrageous prices for mediocre food. Unfortunately for Will, he met someone who was not even the slightest bit afraid or intimidated by his empty threats.
