Chicken King on first appearance looks like your standard KFC rip off - they even stole KFC's colour scheme the scoundrels! However unlike many of the other KFC rip-off, Chicken King gives the almighty KFC a run for it's money. The best thing at Chicken King are the Hot Wings. They are chicken wings in spicy batter then deep fried to a perfect crisp. Not for the calorie counters among us, they are so juicy and greasy and tasty and just like heaven. I could eat them for days and days and days. In fact; my friends and I once set out to do the 50 Hot Wing Challenge, which is as self-explanatory as it sounds. Try the skyscraper burger which is almost exactly like a KFC tower burger except that you can buy it in Fallowfield at quarter to four in the morning and wander home, spilling it all down yourself. They do dinky pots of mayonnaise, ketchup and barbecue sauce and tiny sachets of salt - everything in perfect little portions so that you don't even have to think about it which is great because at that time of the morning there won't be much thought involved in anything you're doing. Long live the Chicken King.
