Yes, please…read more There are any number of places in Poland in which to get good pierogi - and as much as I'd love the opportunity to try them all, this is the place where we landed today. It's a cozy and very colorful place, with wonderful aromas and old world charm. The service is, well, decidedly European - you can't be in a rush when you get here, and being all "American" about it won't get your food on the table any faster. I've been living in Spain for eight years now and I find table service to be quite a bit slower than in the US. Then again, they aren't chasing you out of the restaurant when you finish eating, either - they give you plenty of time to just chat with your mates and enjoy another round. As for the pierogi? The staff is not so friendly, especially the bouncers and the music is just cheese,it reminds me of some horrid school dance. There are even some sad people just standing along the wall and just watching other people dancing (so weird and creepy). The mojito was fresh and tasty but still with a decent amount of rum punch. I had a pasta with sirloin in a creamy sauce. The flavor was "ok" but there was not so much of the nice sirloin to be found. My wife had the grilled octopus and while the octopus itself was tender and well cooked she didnt quite understand the combination of asian influenced flavors like ginger and chili together with somewhat tasteless lentils. Unbalanced dish to be kind. The 90's Music didnt help with the ambiance so i would choose something else next time.
