It's a cozy and very colorful place, with wonderful aromas and old world charm. The service is, well, decidedly European - you can't be in a rush when you get here, and being all "American" about it won't get your food on the table any faster. I've been living in Spain for eight years now and I find table service to be quite a bit slower than in the US. Then again, they aren't chasing you out of the restaurant when you finish eating, either - they give you plenty of time to just chat with your mates and enjoy another round. As for the pierogi? The flavor was "ok" but there was not so much of the nice sirloin to be found. My wife had the grilled octopus and while the octopus itself was tender and well cooked she didnt quite understand the combination of asian influenced flavors like ginger and chili together with somewhat tasteless lentils.
