Like most of SMA's great hidden restaurants, this one is quite hard to find, in that the restaurant is upstairs, out of sight. We happened to walk by one night and a waiter was handing out menu flyers to passers-by. Although we had just eaten, we saved the menu and decided to give it a try a few nights later after doing some online research. So glad we did! As you enter the front door, it looks more like a presentation table for a realtor than a restaurant. That's because the entry is for multiple venues. Keep going on in. As we made our way through the very quiet and nice, yet nondescript courtyard, we see a set of black-railed stairs leading to the rooftop. We summited the stairs to be welcomed by a very nice gentlemen who took our temp, etc. as almost everyone screens for covid in SMA. There were only a few other patrons so we pretty much got to pick our seats. It was a little chilly that night, so they brought over a heat lamp, as well as a blanket for both of us. Our server, as well as the manager were very attentive and treated us very welcoming...even before we mentioned it was our honeymoon. They brought us some nice warm buns with two very tasty butters. One reminded me of pizza. The other perhaps avocado infused? I didn't get a picture, but highly recommend the tempura zucchini starter. We couldn't decide so we both ordered our own soup. I had the coconut Thai, and my spouse had the lobster bisque. You can't go wrong with either. Getting my fill, I finished my meal with a hearty mixed lettuce salad with Roquefort crumbles. My man had the snapper with steamed vegetables and rice. Was good, but the chili's were interestingly chewy, yet flavorful. We were presented with a very nice congratulatory tiramisu. We had such a pleasant evening with a great new favorite restaurant. read more
