Additionally, while the brisket smelt delicious, parts of it were so overcooked that it was akin to beef jerky. The macaroni lacked flavor and the ribs were not as tender as we would have liked. We also found the mini corn muffin to be inedible. On the other hand, we did enjoy the homemade BBQ sauce, and the smoked wings were delicious, although we found it a bit strange that they were fried. Jacob explained that this was to make them crispy; however, we think it was unnecessary to fry them as we are not big fans of fried food. In addition to bring a scratch kitchen, the chefs have to manage two different cuisines in the same space, which can be challenging. However, we feel that the food could have been served much better with attention to detail and less time in the oven.

Good about one matter, bad about another…read more I called about one matter, talked to Barbara Brown, who seemed confident that the attorneys there could help. $1500 retainer seemed reasonable, but I ended up not hiring them due to resolving the issue myself through the county where I have property. Then I ran into another issue, talked to their paralegal, who seemed confident that he and the attorneys could help. So I called the front and gave them the retainer. Then crickets. This was a matter that could've been solved with a letter, maybe two, from an attorney. I wrote a termination letter and received my money back promptly. Then a few days ago, I get a call asking about the "other matter" that I needed to hire them for. I called back the next day and told them that they don't care to call back for a few months, and I had paid the retainer and not heard back, so I feel like no one there cares.
