    Deviled eggs
    Lillian L.

This place does everything right and nothing wrong! Was constantly wowed at the quality of the food and helpfulness of the staff. For a random establishment nestled between the Cheesecake Factory and the mall, I was pleasantly surprised at how absolutely banger the food (and drinks!) were. Tried and would recommend: - deviled eggs - perfectly deviled eggs with a pickled jalapeno and sauced up piece of burnt ends on top - steak and gorgonzola gnocchi - super tender steak and the gorgonzola really shines in the gnocchi. A yummy dish with multiple dimensions of flavor totally worth the price if you like gnocchi and pungent cheese. - smoked meats plate with ribs - dry rub ribs with plenty of flavor. Fell off the bone meat. Comes with a bottle of BBQ sauce if you're into that. - all of the sides I tried were great. Probably can't go wrong with any option. - frozen sangria - a good balance between wine, juice, and fun. Has a slight bitter note on the tail end which I enjoyed but something to consider if you just want a sweet little concoction.

This is a place that is developing; the concept is great but it requires a bit more communication to understand. My hubby who does not have a problem at asking questions received all the answers while confortably seating at the bar from the bartender, I doubt that the busy serving staff has this kind of time. The establishment offers two restaurants in one; we sat in the Italian section or Classico Restaurant which as expected offers Italian dishes and wine bar; Chapter 11 Brewpub and Smokehouse is not exactly as expected- it is not a barbecue place, the menu is ecleptic, offering from Guacamole and Chips to Southern Fried Chicken. This place differentiates from others in their self service beer wall, where you can choose from various craft Floridian beers sold by the ounce. The bar at both places is fully stocked and serves from what I observed a good mix of cocktails. The restaurants are separated by a rolling wall which is left open so you can partake of either menu or drink preference. We sat back, relaxed watching a football game, sharing a board of cold cuts and cheese, Charcuterie Classico and a chilled bottle of French Chardonnay. The board was just acceptable for the price. Overall a good experience!

My brother and I decided to try out this new restaurant in Brandon mall on a Sunday morning around 11am. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the interior decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The place was pretty empty because they just opened. The greeter Tim was very nice and professional. It was a little disappointing that we weren't able to sit outside due to being told they did not have a server outside. However after we sat down there was a staff meeting with a bunch of employees in the back and seemed to be plenty of servers standing around. They had a live musician playing on the patio but again everyone was seated inside. This needs to be changed. Sunday brunch people love to sit outside on a nice day. The menu has a wide selection. They had a brunch menu, drink menu, Classico Italian menu and Smokehouse Chapter 11 menu. So lots of choices. I ordered the ribs, pulled pork and collards greens. My food came out cold initially and I had to send it back. The food tasted alright but honestly not better than some of the other barbecue spots I go to in the area. The sangria was nice and strong. My brother ordered chicken and waffles which he enjoyed. I would go back to this restaurant to try some of their menu items or maybe just a drink. It looks like a place that gets lively and has a nice vibe in the evenings.

We went here after having lunch at Clasico Italian next door. The waiter was a little pushy, but actually pretty nice. I think it would be helpful to have a printout explaining the beer pouring system because I received a card tied ot my debit card, but then didn't understand if I still had to check out with the waiter or if I was good to go until I flagged him down later. The beer selection was pretty good and prices weren't bad either. The TVs were nice and they had the World Cup on which is why we went next door. The games inside the spot are cool including basketball, arcade games, air beer pong, and even a private karaoke room for rent which was pretty cool. The place definitely has plenty of potential since there's nothing like it in Brandon. I want to go back and try the bbq in the future and cocktails as well, but was mostly done drinking for the day and enjoyed Guava wheat beer while my friends ordered a few apps. Cool new spot.

Decided to stop into the newly opened Chapter 11 (the old Brass Tap) and check it out. I thought the place looked really fun - a beer wall (where you pour your own beer), lots of TVs, free basketball, darts, etc. It looks like a place I would enjoy watching a football or baseball game. Service was great - the bartender was very friendly, and so were the employees that ran our food out. We decided to go with the beer wall and pour our own beer. The selection is nothing special to a craft beer fan, but it's decent. A few local craft beer options to choose from. I did notice the glasses available looked dirty and grimy, so I had a tough time picking a glass. Next we ordered food. Since it's a beer and BBQ place, I went with the bbq. A pulled pork sandwich. It was kind of dry and the pork didn't have too much flavor, so I asked for a bottle of bbq sauce to help it out. I was underwhelmed. My wife got the garbage can nachos. Despite the menu saying there would be toppings like black beans and jalapeños on them, they looked kind of bare. Mostly just chips and cheese. We ended up going to PF Changs next door and splitting a meal after bc we barely ate much of our food. Also, the overall concept was confusing. They're connected to the restaurant next door. People kept walking into the bbq side asking if they serve the Italian menu. So it's two separate places that are connected... kinda strange.

Been here twice, first time around the food was OK, the server was a bit in our personal space. But overall OK. Today I went for the second time. We ordered burgers with no seasoning. They were extremely salty, so we sent them back. Second time around they were burnt. Our server was nice and the manager came over and offered to take them off the check. I did pay for them and tipped the server 20%. I did this because this is not their fault, this is the owner's fault for not paying attention on how this place is run. I also made a video of my experience however I am debating whether to post it on other platforms. Hopefully the person or persons who made this large investment can avoid from losing more customers.

Second time there, first was their first day open, then today. Terrible visit, menu items don't match what comes out of the kitchen, i.e. Garbage Can Nachos had nothing but a load of chips and meat, none of the other items listed on the menu, black beans, queso, jalapeño. When I sent them back and ordered something else, they brought the same Nachos back! The staff is not knowledgeable about the menu items, the collards were so spicy I couldn't eat them, the Tacos, which online state 3 white corn tortillas, were blue corn, doubled up and only 2 tacos. Worst $50 spent ever. Will not go back.

4 stars because of the friendly service. We're out there shopping and saw this newly open BBQ restaurant (they also have Italian next then). Tuesday night they don't seem busy at all, with very little customer in bother restaurant. Walk up to Chapter 11 host stand was greeted by Austin, which he is also our server, we sat close by the beer wall area, the ambiance of the place is like a rustic styles bar with some entertaining games (shuffle board, basketball, mini golf). Austin introduce himself with friendly warm smiles, while I'm checking out the beer wall, Austin also proactively explain how the beer wall works and the beer selection they had, pretty cool concept that you can drink as little as 1oz cost for $0.50 range, and all the beer are Florida brewery that's a great thing to support our locals. Food wise I ordered: smoked fish dip, trio bbq selection (turkey, brisket, ribs), drinking chicken... the smoked fish dip was over very salty to me and my company, so we return it and switch to the watermelon bbq wings, the sauce wasn't bad but the wings was pre fried shards so it was dry on the outside and not moisture in the meat. Trio bbq - they all tasted dried, as I believe they all sat in a holding for service too long as they wasn't busy for the rotation, turkey was the worse, the sauce and sweet bean is too sweet, there was no vinegar or mustard taste on the sauce like the old bbq styles. Drunken chicken - chicken brined well with the beer, and it cook perfect but again the sauce glaze was too sweet, Brussels sprouts was good. Considering they newly open and things might be still try to get on track, food prices and quality was just ok, I'll give them another shot but if it remain the same quality I will not go back as I can find much better bbq with cheaper pricing, the beer wall is one of the best that you can try multiple different beers under $1 for tasting, hopefully they can focus more on quality of the food and it'll definitely a good place to hang out. Service by Austin was excellent, he very friendly and constantly check on us, honestly if it wasn't his service I would only give them 2 stars for the food and quality.

We had the st louis ribs which come with 1 side. Elote (grilled corn on the cob- comes with a chipotle-style sauce (cant tell what flavor it was going for but not much of a chipotle flavor, nor yum yum flavor, nothing really stood out-so it wasnt worth the calories, the corn was pretty delish by itself. It also came with. The smoked baked beans and the collartd greens were very flavorful, collard geeens were slightly salty. The fried green tomatoes, there's a tihick breaded coating with a pimento cheese and tomato jam topping: it coukd be verry good if the tomato had a little bit of flavor or thr breading had a little but of flavor. It's fresh and someone may like it. The to-go bag does not fit the to-go box size. The place is a nice game day or interactive place to hang out. There's a beer pong stand, a couple of tables with a game availabke. A karaoke room (reservation required), a dart game stand, and vasketball game stand. It's good.

They are off to a hard start but the place has tons of potential to be an amazing place to grab a bite to eat and relax with friends and family. My visit did not go that well but I understand they are just opening and everyone is still learning as far as staff is concerned. Ultimately my entire meal was free due to issues because management did not want me to leave with a bad experience.

I'll be reviewing Clasico and chapter 11 since they're connected and you can order from both. We had a party of 12 on a Saturday night with reservations. There was another large party in the restaurant when we got there as well as a decent crowd. As the night went on it thinned out and I'd say for good reason. Unfortunately our experience with Classico/chapter 11 was a negative one, and not just us. Personally witnessed at least 4 other tables approach the manager to complain about the food waits. We ordered around 630 and didn't receive our food until after 7:45. It gets busy I understand but what we received was just sub par. My wife got a Aperol spritz when we arrived, which she enjoyed. It was kind of pricey for a mixed drink at $12 but again she enjoyed it. We started with the burnt ends which I will preface with they were absolutely delicious. The pork belly was cooked perfect and their bbq sauce was 12/10. However as you can see from the picture you get a ramiken of small sliced pork belly. It was almost as if they were just cut off scrap pieces cause I've never seen burnt ends that small. Not to mention for 14 bucks it's not a shareable appetizer. We then got the chicken sandwich and truffle Parmesan fries. As you can see in the pictures we received what appeared to be a chicken tender cut in two breaded and fried. It was luke warm at best and swallowed up by the bread. Flavor was nice but probably would have been better if it was hot and had a respectable amount of chicken especially considering it was a 13 dollar sandwich. The fries were soggy and just not very flavorful. My mother ordered the cooked mussels which she enjoyed very much. However that was about it as far as what was enjoyed. None of the steaks our party ordered were cooked to the requested temperatures, side items were wrong or just not brought out and all of this while waiting a VERY long time. Like I previously mentioned we weren't the only ones with this experience as I personally witnessed several parties approach the kitchen and complain. I doubt well be back and I don't see this place lasting very long. The general consensus amongst the party was that it was one of if not the worst dining experience we've had. It's a shame cause it has potential and is a very nice atmosphere inside. Given the fact they've been open for almost a year and still haven't ironed out the kinks I'm not sure it'll be around very long.

The burger was the most well‑done burger I've ever been served -- completely blackened inside and out. On top of that, there was a large chunk of raw, cold red onion sitting on it. The cheese was melted, the mushrooms were sautéed, the burger was cooked to death... yet the onions were somehow untouched. I've never had a burger assembled like that, and I wasn't a fan. I had planned to order the Brookie Sundae, but between the ambiance of toddlers shrieking like a pterodactyl and the burnt burger, it felt wiser to just close out and call it a night. Really disappointing for a place I normally enjoy.

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. We sampled the local Reef Donkey brew, which definitely lived up to the hype--smooth, flavorful, and well balanced. A great choice if you're new to their beer lineup. We started with the hot pretzel served with queso and mustard. It came out warm, soft, and perfectly salted--ideal for sharing and easily one of the highlights of the visit. The pizza was generously topped and very cheesy, which we appreciated, though the quality of the sausage could use some improvement to better match the rest of the ingredients. We also tried the hot chicken tenders with hot honey drizzle. Flavor-wise, they were decent, but the portion size felt closer to boneless wings than tenders. The fries were hot and crispy, but overall the chicken itself could benefit from a crispier exterior. Worth noting for future guests: the Red Eye cider buffalo sauce comes with a $1 upcharge. Overall, this is a fun spot with a strong beer program and solid starters. Hoping to return in about six months to see improvements and refinements to the food offerings, as the potential here is definitely there.
