Normally a visit here would be a treat and it was Saturday. I went by again today and observed an employee NOT maintaining social distancing NOR wearing a mask properly. Last time I took a physiology &/or anatomy course, the lungs are connected to BOTH the mouth and the nose. Thus, wearing a half-mask with the nose exposed is not acceptable. So, if you can't abide with COVID mitigation, then I can spend my money elsewhere. Additionally, they do Require a mask" for entry. I just wonder if doing the hall-mask or wearing it on the chin only will suffice. So, I will bypass them until the COVID pandemic is resolved. read more

Fine homemade fudge and candies. A must stop. Been here since the fifties. Their peanut brittle is I think the beat I have ever had. They also have a smokehouse next door with all kinda of food stuff also. I got a half dozen double dipped chocolate strawberries. read more

The candy they make is amazing and they have been doing it for generations. My grandmother Irene Reed worked there when I was a kid so yes I know they make it from scratch with the best ingredients (you can watch them thru the glass windows). Now that I live in Texas we always stop by here to get some Mountain Hash because you can not get that stuff anywhere but at this place!!! read more

Our family has a 50 year relationship with Kopper Kettle. The peanut brittle was sent to customers for years and now goes to close family and friends. My dad walked into the store, met the owner and a tradition was born. Barrie Ann and I are continuing the tradition and I know my children will too. The staff is phenomenal!!!!!!!! We were taking a small road trip with veterans from our skilled nursing facility and made a stop at the Kopper Kettle Candies.
