My boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight for his birthday dinner and we were first alarmed at the prices for the portion but then we remembered that we got 30 off through The Fork.
We started with the sampler appetizer for 18€ that came with two types of raviolis/dim sum, a small soup, noodles, and kimchi. This was TINY for 18€ but delicious.
Then we got BBQ for 28€ per serving. This was really confusing since we had meat served twice so at first we thought the portion was extremely small. If you're eating BBQ, they seat you in the back where they have grills. The meat is great quality but it's so thin that they stick to the pans, even with the sesame oil they brush on. They give you a sauce to dip the meat in. Having thought the meat was only the first portion, we ordered another side of ravioli for 10€. Then the second tray of meat came. The rice was jasmine rice topped with cilantro. It would have been better if they used sticky rice but oh well.
For dessert we got the black sesame tiramisu and coconut pana cotta with mango. Both were delicious. I had written in our reservation note that it was a birthday day dinner so they gave us a candle!!! So sweet. The desserts were AMAZING!!!! Mm I'm still salivating.
The service was slow but complete. Our meal for two came to 73€. The portions were small but the food was fresh. If you're looking for genuine Korean food, look elsewhere but if you want a fusion twist, give this place a try! read more
