OKie, My first ever Korean barbeque in Australia. Not bad. But the experience didn't blew me away. I was there with a couple of friends along with my family, no prior booking, but we managed to get seatings anyway since it's a Monday.
The place have about 10-15 tables, a decent size place. The Koreans are polite, even though initially I have some issues understanding them, but they were polite and patient to explain how to order and stuff..
For our barbe, as we have a Muslim friend around, and he can't consume pork, we ordered a plate each for all the rest of the meat (Beef and Chicken). I like the marinated chicken, both versions are really tasty. And the good thing about them is that they provide a scissor for you to cut those chunky meat. A nice touch there. There were other pre-prepared food near the entrance, much like a buffet spread. There wasn't alot of choices, but at least you are not just limited to eating barbeque food if that isn't your thing.
Overall, I think the experience is fine. I feel that the price for an adult is reasonable. However, I paid half price for my older daughter, and I felt that it is really expensive when her portion is included in the overall bill. I mean at age 4, she didn't really eat that much to justify even $10, let alone $15(or $16, can't rem the actual cost).
I will probably visit other Korean barbeque joints before considering returning. Need to eat out at other joints before I really know who is better. :) read more
