My wife and I have heard how great this place is. We decided finally to meet up with friends here for dinner. Because it was so hot we opted for the air conditioned inside dining room. The place on the inside is quite big and was about three quarters full on a Wednesday night. They have a full bar with great beer and wine prices. We began with appetizers for the table. We ordered fried shrimp, dumplings, and fried vegetables. Everything was delicious and plenty to split for the four of us. For dinner we ordered two orders of Korean beef bulgogi with all the trimmings. It was very good also. Our server was friendly and provided great service. The Korean food was a nice change of Yucatán food. Definitely will be back.

Yes!! Korean food in Merida!! This place was really good and affordable. Came and there was a lunch special and it was very good. Came with a big group and we were easily accommodated. You can also buy Korean products. So proud to come here I'm a Korean Yucateca. Authentic Korean food. Had the bulgogi and side dishes came with were kimchi and different veggie sides. Get the Bing su!!! It is a Korean raspado with ice cream and fresh fruit. It's so good, fresh and the perfect dessert. It's big so you might need someone to help you out. I got the mango one and its good!! Have not seen other Korean food out in Merida. They also have lots of tea options.

We needed a change from all the Yucatecan food and were glad that we came here. We started with some dumplings and then shared kimchi rice and a really tasty beef dish. They give you a lot of food and if you can;t finish it all, take the leftovers home. If you are in Merida and tired of the local cuisine, come to the Korean Grill where everything is excellent
Food here is delicious. We came 3 years ago and had to make a stop as soon as we got to paseo de Montejo last night. I love all the food here it is fresh and authentic. I had no room for dessert but the shaved ice is flavorful and big. Shareable! read more
GOOD LOCATION, SOJU AVAILABLE - Ok so that was the good part of the review. Unfortunately, menu items did not deliver in our case anything like the pictures. They did share bonchon, but it was not fully fermented, rather dressed for the most part making it not very authentic kimchi for what I experienced in Seoul. The ramen literally must have come from a packet, which is fine if they advertise it that way, but they made it seem like it would be a rich pepper broth. It was nothing of the sort, literally something you make in a pot with a bag. My partner got the bulgogi, and it sort of was bulgogi but it was more like beef stir fry, far far closer to cantonese in my experience than korean. We did stock up on soju at a somewhat reasonable price but the market mainly sold ramen. So two stars for a place you can buy ramen and soju but the food really didnt land for us. read more

I was so happy to be able to go back and eat at this restaurant. There were many customers there eating shaved ice. This time my daughter and I were craving for bibimbap so that's what we got. When the server realized we are Koreans he said he was going to bring something g extra. Aside from their side dishes (banchan) he brought 3 other side dishes! One was my favourite summer kimchi where you can drink up the kimchi juice! We ended with their coffee shaved ice which tasted slightly sweet and tasted of Korean coffee! A very happy customer here! read more

While on vacation with a friend, we stopped by this place. This was my first time trying out Korean food, and yes, it's a bit ironic that we're in Mexico, but it was so worth it! My friend is Korean, so she walked me through the steps on choosing what I wanted. The spicy beef was delicious, as well as the chicken bibimbap rice. I also loved the shrimp pancake. We then topped it off with mango shaved ice cream. Everything was affordable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They followed the social distance rules by taking your temperature, providing hand sanitiser, and keeping tables at least 6ft away. This was overall a great experience and I hope to go there again soon! read more

Food to go today was bad. Fried shrimp weren't brown and crispy. Vegetable dumplings weren't sealed and had virtually no vegetables, all dough. Shrimp fried rice was a solid block with 5 very tiny very overcooked shrimp buried inside. It's only a 5 minute walk from the restaurant to my house, so the food was already dead before arrival. Very disappointing, really craving good Asian food in my adopted city. read more

Wow! What a great treat. A must try when in Merida. Friendly staff and fabulous flavors of the best Korean dishes we have ever had.

Food was really good, service was great, price was fair. We had steamed veggie dumplings and fried pork dumplings. They seemed homemade and I was surprised that I liked the veggie ones better. Really good flavor. Next time I'll try the pork ones steamed. We also got fried rice two ways: with shrimp and with chicken. Both really tasty but we liked the shrimp best. Chicken was cut up so small it was hard to find. We were also served a bunch of tiny plates with little tastes of different Korean things like Kimchi, spicy broccoli, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and a couple others which were all tasty and fun and unexpected because we didn't order them. Server said we could have more of any we wanted but we ate so much we were full! Very nice people and really surprisingly good food. Kimchi was so tasty and I usually hate that stuff lol. Lemonadas were great and so was the hot ginger tea!! read more

Love Korean Grill! They have the best kim-chee I have had outside of Asia. Great service and quality food. The Korean ice cream is heavenly with such fine shavings of ice. One of our regular places to eat in Merida. read more

If you are craving something other than the fabulous Yucatan cuisine, this cute restaurant is the place to go. We enjoyed veggie dumplings which came with a great dipping sauce and shared a spicy(but not too spicy) pork dish that came out still sizzling on a cast iron pan. Rice, miso soup, lots of lettuce leaves for making wraps, and traditional sides such as kimchi also came with our order. A perfect lunch on the lovely Paseo Montejo boulevard! read more

Fantastic Korean food in Mérida! We came as a family of six -- my wife, the kids and me -- and everyone had a great time from start to finish. We tried the se woo ti kim and the rollitos primavera to share, both delicious, and I had the udon noodles, which were amazing. Great flavors, generous portions and a really welcoming spot for families. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more
