It is a little confusing when you get there because the first tent is to sign a waiver, and then you go to another place to pay for the attractions. The farm is free to enter and has a few free activities like photo ops and play items for the kids like slides and a sandbox. We got the tick for all three paid activities. The corn maze was great. It was challenging but not too hard. My son loved the apple cannon. The wagon ride is fun but be prepared to wait since it is a small wagon and very popular. They have food trucks if you want to stay and eat lunch. Pumpkin prices were reasonable and you could even pick one from the field.

What a family-friendly farm to spend some time enjoying the Fall weather. Everywhere we looked, there was something for the kids to play with. Giant slides, giant sandbox, giant CORN box, teepee, pumpkin theme tic-tac-toe, photo opp stations, pumpkin cannons and more! I prefer the white pumpkins. What about you?  The apples are DELICIOUS! We like the Magnum Bonum. The owners say it's great for baking. We like the taste. The Honey Crisp apples are huge!  They have pumpkin butter, candy, and peanuts.  FOOD TRUCKS: They have food trucks on the property which makes for a great day trip to Winston-Salem!   Here are two that we recommend:    Papa Bears Coffee-n-Donuts, the owner makes his own pumpkin icing to go over his donuts! They are on Facebook.  Graffiti Grub had her grand opening today at Hawks! She has iced hot chocolate! Coffee and treats. She will be selling candied apples and the apples come from Hawks. She doesn't have social media yet, but I hope you will stop by and support local.   I saw an Ice Cream truck setting up but didn't get the name.  Other unique features: Grab a red wagon and fill it up with pumpkins and apples, or take your kids for a ride around the patch.   Lots of photo props and opportunities, but if you're a professional photographer please check in with the owners.  Fun for the whole family!!

The goal of this merger was to reimagine learning and better meet the needs of the diverse community by providing access to informal science discovery and cultural experiences. I came here with two adult friends and my son who is 8. The museum is 4 stories (including the roof which has a beautiful playground overlooking the city). We were told to start at the top and work our way down and this is exactly what we did and would recommend to everyone . Each level has soooo many things to do whether it be interactive , experiments, or simply water play. We spent an easy 4 hours there and could've done more if the coffee shop was as open haha. Long story short, go here if you can. It's worth the entrance fee and experience :)

The Greek festival took place at the Greek church in Winston they had a variety of foods and activities all throughout the area! I got the Greek pizza, Loukoumades, spanikopita and potato wedges! The place was pretty packed as today was opening day. Parking is all the way down right by the church just follow the signs. I will say I got lucky with mine and there's a couple parking spots before you really start getting towards the church. Under the tent area is where you can find the entrees, and in the gymnasium area it's the lunch specials and Greek pastries and some dessert options too.

The two time I have been (May) there was one vendor selling meats (chicken and pork). Prices were fair and the selection was decent. There were no vendors selling vegetables but they will once these start coming in. I wasn't expecting tomatoes and squash this early but was hoping for some early spring vegetables. Several other vendors selling things like plants, art work, soaps, hot sauces, and other items. The first time I went there were about 10 - 12 vendors. The next week the vendors were cut in half. Now my second visit was around 2:40 so perhaps some sold out of their goods and packed up. One hot dog vendor, no other prepared food options. I would not drive a long way for this farmers market. If you are local then it is worth a stop. I expect this market to get better as the year progresses.
