Because everyone agreed that this type of repair was highly unusual, and because the auto manufacturer agreed to "work with me" on the repair cost if I had the work done at a dealership, I had the car towed to another shop in a nearby city. The customer service has been outstanding from the first call I made to the receptionist, the diagnostics, and repair. Jason was very generous with his time, and is very knowledgable. They have worked well with warranty information. Most importantly, I never felt like my lack of mechanical knowledge was taken advantage of. Jason very clearly explained the problems and the steps he would take to remedy it. Overall, I have never had a more pleasant and stress-free experience with a shop. I would recommend Hilltop, and Jason to anyone!

Save yourself the hassle and take it to real mechanic. Their labor hourly rate is more than a real mechanic with a real shop. They don't know vehicles either. I had to tell them how to diagnose the vehicle, and I'm not a mechanic! They have a car lift and a welder, otherwise I would've done the repairs myself. They are charging twice as much for parts. I could've ordered the parts from the auto parts store for half the price!!!! And that's at full retail!!! I fully intend to file a complaint with the AG concerning the unauthorized repairs.
