You have to wade in the water to get to the rentals. But you are at the beach so get over it lol. My friends and I rented a four seater paddle boat. We peddled out a little ways and then let the current drift us for a while and just took in gorgeous scenery. It was extremely relaxing. I imagine on a busy day it is pretty crowded, but we lucked out and there were not many rentals in the water. You can see the bottom of the water and occasionally a fish would jump out to remind you that you are not alone. There were a few birds fishing too. I would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for some fun and relaxation. Try them out!

I personally wouldn't recommend this time and would suggest you go on a earlier tour as you will see more wildlife and the sun won't be so hot and beating down on you. Also, the water is more likely to be calm and smooth. This activity does require you to be able to balance so keep that in mind. I get motion sickness easily and didn't have too much of a problem with this activity. Make sure you drink well before going because it's a little bit of a workout. My husband is 6'4 and 230 lbs and he had to pedal more than I did as I'm only 5'4 and 120 lbs. We saw beautiful views of the Island and the Bay.

The store front on the upstairs was belong to the previous owner of the rental. The current owner do not have the store front. You have to call for appointment before your arrival and he will meet you at the dock. Since the high season is not always there, that how this business was operate by appointment. I have the kayak for less than an hour. We were able to meet at the dock and the kayak is ready to go. You also can rent the wave runner there. Not sure the cost. I got the kayak there since it is close to the bridge I want to visit. The fees is reasonable. The kayak is good and easy to use. I was able to return and the close up is easy.

MANATEES ARE MAGICAL! We saw well over 30+ manatees on our late January kayaking outing. We rented…read morea 2-seater top kayak (comes w paddles and life vests). And from the staff to the dock hands, to the quality of the vessel and cleanliness of the shop: 10/10. A guide handed us a laminated map (nice touch) and told us where to head for manatee sightings. And even pointed us to a cove that homes a lot of turtles and alligators. We saw it all! They have volunteers overseeing the 3 sisters springs, to help monitor the safety of the manatees (and scold ignorant people lol). Great time! If you're unsure, let me assure you.. just book.

What a great service! We went to Weekie, seeing up the service was super easy. We arrived (a few…read moreminutes late) and discovered our kayaks were there. They even loaded our friends paddle boards on their trailer to bring down to the loading area. They helped us in, had everything we needed (jackets and whistles) and even paddled halfway back from the bottom to meet us and say hello. Wonderful service that I've never seen when renting a local kayak. 10/10 will use again.
