We were the only customers when we arrived and for the ~35 minutes we were there, so it wasn't like they were busy. Aside from the counter area, there is another adjacent room with a couch and table seating. That was cute! Overall, the cost and portion sizes were good, but it was just okay in terms of flavor. Cleanliness definitely needs to be improved.

The entire party of 11 people all agreed that it was quite delicious. One comment I will make is that for the Americans, the food is not exactly as you would know it. For example, I ordered the Singapore noodles and it wasn't very spicy and they use a darker sauce or curry. It was still very tasty so I can't fault it at all. The portions are very fair though, still smaller what you'd get in the US (but this is Ireland!). It is always interesting to me when an Asian restaurant serves burgers, fries and PIZZA. I guess they have to cater to the catch-all group where not everyone in this country is used to Asian flavors. In the USA, if an asian restaurant ever serves non asian food, you avoid at all costs because they are very clear to be terrible. But Fudi didn't disappoint!

The rice tasted like someone cooked it, but then re-heated it with too much water. The kho pad, essentially fried rice, looked like mushy baby food. Mushy look aside, it tasted as if the dish had ingredients that have already gone bad. I thought maybe this was just the standard for Asian food here, but I tried rice from a chain restaurant and it was fine. Looked and tasted as rice should. Considering rice is such an essential part to Asian cuisine, that might be something they want to get right.

Best. Decision. Possible. We seated ourselves because we couldn't see any staff, but we weren't waiting long. We both got the coconut green curry (one of my favourite Thai dishes), and the rice was perfect. The vegetables were still crisp, perfectly cooked.
