Dr. Nash has been the first dentist I have ever felt the need to say Thank you for all that you do! To get me numbed up to the point that I had no anxiety because it was for the most part pain free from the first injection. Dr. Nash and her assistants were very thorough and gave detailed instructions AND took the time to answer my questions along the way. They even called me next day about follow up care and to check on how I was doing! My procedure may have been 30 minutes top which definitely was another joyful surprise as I wasn't there all day either. All roads should lead to Dr. Nash for your dental needs especially if you're in the Chatham or South Chicagoland area.

The dentist recommended partials and explained everything, The receptionist was advised to go over the different treatment plans, which ranged from $3000 - $6000. My Dad has to select a plan and sign the estimate. He selected the $3000 plan. Of course he does not want to put "that much money into the gound" as he says, however he wants to keep chewing his food without problems, keep talking to neighbors and his frat brothers with out an odor. The receptionist said she would call his insurance to see what is covered. It is now March 16th and we have not heard from anyone. I will not return to this location. I'm taking my Dad elsewhere. Perhaps to my dentist! I'm certain he'll get better treatment. I stopped going to Chatham Dental after my cap fell off twice.

He is a very caring yet professional man. He oversaw and participated in providing great care for my senior mom and sister. He made my sister feel especially comfortable and gave her a new smile that boosted her confidence! They both had to have extractions and then dentures...the process took a while but was well worth it! Dr. Maclin is a kind and very skilled dentist. My first clue should have been when I initially called to make an appointment and the young lady on the telephone rudely informed me that it would take a month before my insurance would be cleared for an appointment. No offer of a follow up, no see you soon, just a hang up. But I moved forward and finally I was cleared and it's appointment day. The mix and match letters on the front door which spelled out the dentist's name should have let me know what was in store. My appointment was at 2pm and I arrived 5 minutes early in order to get the paperwork out of the way. The office was dark so I called. A woman answered the phone and told me that the staff was eating lunch and they would open the door momentarily. Upon entering, the receptionist at the front desk did not greet me until I said good afternoon to her and gave her my name and stated that I had an appointment. No smile, no warmth, no question of how I am feeling...all the greetings I received from my old dental office. Most people are apprehensive about seeing a dentist especially a new one and I would think the office staff would be trained on how to put a patient at ease. NOT HERE! She gave me a clipboard and told me to have a seat, the doctor was not in the office and she had to page him and he would arrive around 220 to 240. By now, I was ready to walk out, but I know I needed to see a dentist so I sat down. I looked around. The carpet was filthy with a big wad of gum in the middle of the floor. The wall had holes where the paint is peeling down to the dry wall. I know the office is in a poor income neighborhood, but damn at least fix the walls and clean the floor. I finished the paperwork and the dental assistant came out, already wearing her mask and gloves and told me to come in the back for xrays. She just like the receptionist was abrupt and to the point.
