I don't typically write these reviews, but I definitely want to jump on here and say Dale Rimmer…read morewas beyond amazing. I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. I cannot be thankful enough for my community and the fact that Dale was the voice a reason and calmness in my crazy day.!!!

Several siding contractors we called said they only did siding. Dale said he had contractors that he has worked with for years that could do the stone work and build the new porch. Dale was involved during the entire process and the stone mason and carpenter he brought in were great. The porch and stone work turned out better than we expected. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.

Their sales representative was extremely helpful and never pushy. He took the time to educate us on our roof and made thoughtful suggestions. We already knew we needed a new roof, and after comparing our options, we felt confident moving forward with them. Within about four weeks, the new roof was installed--and it looks great! The team went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied. Compared to contractors I've dealt with in the past, this was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend Remodeling Concepts to anyone looking for a quality roofing company.

After One Year No Roof Leaks It has been just over a year…read moresince I had to have the entire roofing replaced in its entirety. Ten years prior Remodeling Concepts was contracted to do a fairly extensive home remodel for me. Scope of the work included stripping off the entire plywood roof deck and rebuilding an entire new roof. The previous roof was 27 years old with no roof leak issues. The goal was to add an air space above the insulation between the joist with 2 by 3's and to replace the 3/8 inch thick plywood roof deck which the current building code replace with 5/8 inch plywood. Six year prior to this contract I had 8 skylight installed which were water tight. Prior to the renovation contract I had intended to re-roof myself. I had purchased premium roofing shingles which were already staged on the roof under tarps and on pallets. Remodeling Concepts in their proposal identified a roofing contractor but proposed as a cost cutting effort were going to do all of the roofing prep relegating to roofing contractor to simply install the premium roofing shingles. The new roofing started to leak in multiple location during the first hard rain. Remodeling Concepts blamed reusing the skylights as the reason for the leaks. The replace all of the existing skylight at an additional $5500. They were called out 3 additional times that first year. Leaks were occurring around the new skylights in addition to other locations. During the second year Remodeling Concepts blamed the leaks on the home owner. After 9 years I stripped off 60 square feet of shingles around one of the skylights to investigate what the problem was. As an architect I am familiar with the building codes and manufactures detailed requirements for the proper installation. I really was not prepared to see a complete break down in following the building code and manufactures detailed roofing prep and installation. The roofing contractors installation of the shingles was very professional. However, not one aspect of the roofing prep or skylight installation was done correctly. I assembled a Roof Failure Report which numbered over 100 pages. The report include photos of what was installed compared to screen shots from the building code; roof shingle manufactures detailed instructions; and the skylight manufactures detailed instructions. A copy of the report was sent to Remodeling Concepts. Their response was their work is only guaranteed for a year. They did offer to give me a good price to correct their previous work. That was never going to happen. All in the shoddy roofing job cost me an additional $33,200 ($25,500 new roof; $5,500 new skylight; $2,200 premium shingles I purchased prior to the renovation). I would never consider using this contractor again.

Unfortunately, the corners of the largest section have turned into water faucets that were always on. I tried my own DIY projects to get it turned off, but was unsuccessful. It was finally time to call in the pros. I found Made in America Roofing also through Yelp. They were local to me and also part of the Yelp Project Guarantee program. I was pleasantly surprised that Joe got back in touch with me within a few minutes of my initial Yelp contact. He was out to my house the same day and we discussed the project and some other roofing issues I had. He had a written estimate in my hands within two days, and the project was completed within the week. My multiple corner piece gutters are dry! He took off my gutter guards from my old gutters and put them on the new ones. We added a second downspout and you can clearly see that the pitch is correct. For my other roofing issues, Joe was able to see some possible areas where rain may have been coming in and causing a shower inside my house. He even showed me pictures he took to explain what he saw could be problematic. He caulked the areas and so far I haven't had water coming from the ceiling lights. I did not get any other quotes. The price I was given I thought was fair and reasonable. I also had a concrete patch hole in my garage fixed by Made in America Roofing. Joe had his mason guy come to do that project for $150. Joe and his helper, Vlad, completed the project in a few hours. I couldn't believe how much sludge was inside the gutters. Just shows how much they weren't pitched and draining properly. Now my gutters are doing the correct job. Communication was excellent, price was fair, and he put in the extra help for my roofing problem that he did not try to get me to do a replacement or work that was not necessary. I'm always about helping out local businesses. He's been doing roofing for over 10 years. I'd highly recommend you check out Made in America Roofing for your needs.
