I took a pair of omega back earrings in for stem repair; when I picked them up they had significant traces of a white pasty sticky material. I left them with instructions that my earrings be cleaned. Upon returning (the second time) my earrings still had traces of this white material in the creases and folds. I didn't realize what happened until later; In my opinion Kramer made a copy/mold of my earrings without my permission. I had this experience about 8 years ago and the staff were off-putting and rude. At the time, I did not have access to Yelp. Only gave a three because woman in front was very nice. Bought 3 previously purchased from Kramar items for repair and sizing. When the elders were running the place, any time it was their merchandise they fixed or sized for free. I kind of expect this since lots of money were spent at their facility by my extended family. No onsite repair available so left with them for a week. Wasn't done when I came back. Week later I picked up and checked. A ring that had a diamond fall out wasn't touched and the back room owner (?) was pissed off that he had to fix while I waited. Very uncomfortable as he glared at me and took his own sweet time, over an hour. Too bad because we will never recommend nor purchase from them again. Very happy with recent ring purchase. Customer assistance was very helpful with selection & design. Love my new ring as design was in memory of my recently passed father. Thank you Kramer Jewelry Update: Sadly ring did not hold up properly and had to go to a different jeweler to correct 2 flaws in this ring. First was a section of design became disconnected from its mount, second my diseased fathers previous diamond mount in the ring design prongs tarnished black! Extremely unpleasant experience. The woman there was nasty, never smiled and would interrupt me when I Asked a question. She was unhelpful to my questions and it seemed like I was a burden to ask them. I went engagement ring shopping here and she used phrases such as "that's all you're going to get" and "that will be it for you" when talking about diamonds and price. I was having difficulty finding anyone to work on it, but the wonderful people here got it reshaped, secured the main stone and polished it ...all within about 20 min!! I grew up in the neighborhood with the founders of this store. My mothers best friend was an employee of the Kramar brothers for decades. I bought my wife's wedding ring from the original brothers and they treated their clients like family. It is conservative that my family have spent 10's of thousands of dollars here. However the new ownership, whether the children of the founders are just petty and cold. There is a blonde woman that has been there for years and treats everyone like crap. Whatever spirit that used to reside in this establishment under George and his brother are dead. I saw George's son working there and he doesn't even look customers in the eye. I brought two necklaces that I purchased here originally for new clasps and was treated like a bum. Their selection used to be exceptional when George senior traveled to Italy and purchased. Now it is the tired same outdated stock when you visit. It seems the new policy is the more you spend the better you are treated. I just can not express how disappointed I am. Ironically, when I got how there was a customer appreciation coupon Christmas card I will never spend another dollar in this place. I predict that they will go the way of the dinosaur like every other poor customer service establishment. I miss the original Kramar Brothers. read more

I am so happy that Kramar has a new location! It is so beautiful! We've been Kramar customers for over 20 years. We have bought several pieces here and they stand by what they sell. They have on site jewelry repair. Other jewelry stores bring their repairs here. My engagement/ bridal set was also bought here and they check on my diamond and the pave diamonds on the ring. The prices are the best around. I cringe when people go to the expensive mall jewelry stores. I have referred a lot of people here and they all thank me because they saved a lot of money buying at Kramars. The employees are knowledgeable about jewelry and there is a gemologist on site. They have a wonderful selection and will help you find the perfect piece of jewelry. They know what they are doing and they are the best jewelry store! read more

My fiance bought my ring from here and they were extremely helpful in helping him choose the diamond and setting. They can design almost anything and have a book full of photos if you needed ideas (i didn't think a lot of what they had in their counters was very pretty - but I LOVE my ring). The staff and owner were discourteous and the jewelry was overpriced for such low quality items. There are many more businesses in the area that will treat customers with respect and have jewelry of value for a better price.
