I had no other problems from my cataracts; no nighttime halos and rays when driving. Dr. Walker removed my cataracts, and my vision is now 20-20 and 20-25. HOWEVER, I now have significant problems driving at night. I have light rays coming down from traffic lights that extend into my car. I have light rays in my rear view mirror. There are starbursts from oncoming headlights. I see rays coming from my neighbors' porch lights, so I don't take evening walks. I can't drive at night without significant problems, and will not venture more than a mile from home. I'm completely disabled when it comes to nighttime driving. During the day, I sometimes have "fluttering." It's been 7 months since my surgery, and Dr. Walker has no idea why I'm having issues. She says I'm "seeing better than I ever have," referring to my prescription change, but completely disregarding the major problems I'm having. I would gladly wear contacts again if it meant I wouldn't be going through this ordeal.

After I finished the drops, my eyes went back to bothering me to the point it was affecting my driving and computer work, I called back again and explained that the drops only worked temporarily so I needed to make the appointment for the procedure, and the staff said that Dr. Sucheski doesn't do that procedure??? after he said the words "do a procedure" Which again I told the nurse! Then she said "oh yeah, its funny wording" and I would need to see another Dr. WHAT?!? Needless to say I will never go back to that practice.

I had other thoughts as to what it *could have been* and wanted to rule them out as well. My initial suspicions were correct and it was in fact allergies, but better to be safe than sorry. Also it is so good to have found an opthalmologist office that my family might need. Now to get my husband in lol. Great office, not a long wait time at all! I said I could come back another day when he can help me with that and she said do not to even try! "He doesn't help at his desk anymore!" That cold answer was a wake up call for sure, so I have since purchased two new pairs elsewhere. (Alex was always helpful, so if you decide to go there, ask for him. He's hard working and kind). They delayed my ACN test for 1 month. Then after, they never called to schedule surgery. After I called several times, a week later they set up an appointment to fill out paperwork. The person was not in the office, and I had to drive another 1/2 hour to another office to meet with her. They then rescheduled surgery again because they set it up at the wrong surgical center which delayed it another month. I got my cataract clearance from GP. One week before the surgery the doctor called and said everything was a go. THE DAY BEFORE SURGERY, the office called and claimed they never received the clearance form from GP who I had to call and ask to send again. Then they called back to say surgery was cancelled as their office never did the proper paperwork to get the go-ahead from insurance. I had already started my eye-drops pre-surgery. They HUNG UP THE PHONE on me after saying "welcome to America where no one wants to work, you can ask your question 3 different ways and you'll get the same answer, now let me go do my work"...click. Hung up. I am out all of the money I spent on several visits and eye drops and now have to start all over again and find a new surgeon. And I am seeing double out of my right eye. No one has called to apologize and instead only offered excuses but no solutions. I've never had such an awful experience at a doctor's office and I have seen my husband through 10 operations over the years. I am so incredibly disappointed with this practice, I trusted the doctors and the staff to do the right thing, yet they did not. To be so dismissive and uncaring to people who are at their most vulnerable, needing surgery, is completely unforgivable. I do not recommend Opthalmology Physicians and Surgeons or their parent company ReFocus Eye Health - any of their branch offices - to anyone, ever. I am writing this so others won't have to experience the same blatant disregard for their health and well-being. Run away as fast as you can.

The people who we interface with when ordering glasses are no trained properly and are not Optometrists. When I picked up my glasses the vision was blurred. I told the person and she told me, "No it is not". The person did zero adjustments on the frame fitting, proper alignment of lenses, etc. She just walked away. They can just blame the problem on someone outside the office. The premium Essilor lenses provide much less vision detail as standard lenses. This is not an ophthalmologist office.
