I highly recommend Kristin as we had a wonderful experience for a newborn photo shoot. She is very professional. She took time to talk with me on the phone and listened to my thoughts, wants, hopes etc on what my newborn session would look like but also gave her professional advise based on hearing what I wanted and what our home was like. We were able to arrive at a plan to ultimately get me the pictures I was hoping for. On the day of the photo shoot, Kristin was incredibly patient, helpful and professional especially considering I have 4 small children 6 and under, including a newborn. She directed us and helped my young children feel more at ease and comfortable getting pictures (one of my children refused at first to take part due to being very shy), and in the end we had so many wonderful pictures to choose from. She also helped me with picking outfits that would work best. Overall, I was just so grateful for her knowledge and expertise and the quality of the pictures surpassed what I expected. To put it simply, Kristin Brockman Photography is a great experience that captures the amazing candids of a family unit without the strain of forcing those moments. With 2 littles under 5, portraits are a challenge. There is no just sitting and smiling for the camera. Somehow, though what I can only assume is magic, Kristin is able to capture the beauty of our small boys. Their laughter and joy and our family moments together. She was able to engage the boys, even in almost-meltdown-but-not-yet moments, and pull amazing photos from the brink of what could have been tantrum territory. Kristin was such a joy to work with! We have 3 kids under 5 and wanted family pictures that reflect them as they are (high energy and full of giggles).
