My wedding was in the beginning of March, and I couldn't be happier that my husband and I chose Kristin to be our photographer! She offered a complimentary engagement session with her package, and I'm so happy that she did. After the session, we knew we did a good job choosing our photographer. The engagement session was a great idea, because it got us to feel comfortable with her and learn her unique style and personality, which we loved. I wish all photographers offered a free engagement session like she did-- I'm so happy we got to have one-on-one time with her before the wedding and I'll recommend doing an engagement session before the wedding to everyone I know getting married from now on! Throughout both the engagement session and the wedding, she got a ton of incredible shots, and also asked us if there were any more that we were hoping she would get. I'm happy she asked, because there were some shots that I really wanted, and this ensured that we got them all! Kristin is outgoing, easy to talk to, down to earth, extremely professional, and hilarious! The way that she went about doing our family portraits for the wedding was something that I've never seen. She was so organized-- she made my whole family feel so comfortable, she got shots of EVERY combination of people, and she did it FAST. She even asked afterwards if there were any other groupings that we wanted, but she's so good, we didn't even need to add any more. Throughout the whole wedding, she made sure after every new pose that my dress was fixed, my hair looked good, and my veil was straight. She even asked me if I needed more lip gloss! I never had to worry about if my train was bunched up or if my veil was stuck to my hair in some weird way, which was just one more thing I didn't have to worry about. She was so creative with the way that she did our photos-- she's not afraid to step through a little mud, get on the ground, or stand up on a wobbly bench to get that perfect shot! Kristin made sure that even though all of the photos were taken within 300 feet of each other, that they all had unique backgrounds and angles that made them look like we went to so many different places for our pictures. We had a unique wedding-- it was very small and on a trail. She was so flexible, and when I told her about our backup location if there was bad weather, she was totally fine with last minute location and time changes (thankfully we didn't need the backup plan, but she was on top of it the whole time). She was totally down for the very specific order of events, and I'm so lucky she took my stress away about having to worry if our photographer would be upset if we had to change the time of the wedding. Her turn-around time was great, she is a great communicator, and the way she gave us our photos was super user friendly. We got them on both a mailed USB drive, and through an online link where we could download them, so that everyone who wanted to see our wedding photos, could! Every penny we spent on her was WELL worth it. She doesn't charge by the photo which was great, so however many photos she took, we got. The photos Kristin captured were all absolutely stunning, and I'm so so happy that we will get to look at and cherish hundreds of so perfectly captured moments for the rest of our lives.
