I booked Kristine less than 1 month before my wedding. Thank God that she was available because a bride was stressed for real for real. We ( my wife and I, bride and bride) booked Aaliyahs Beauty and Brows (don't ever go there or book with them) previously for makeup who ended up cancelling on us last minute and needed to find someone ASAP. We were referred by a close friend and we are so grateful that all paths led to Ms. Kristine. She was timely, hilarious and had such a great personality. She even gave us sound marriage advice, thanks girl! She also worked very well and professionally with our hair artist, Gercy Galang. My makeup was fire, but that was not the best part. At my ceremony, I cried like a baby ass because wedding vows, DUH! And even after all that commotion, my makeup still looked good. It just needed a little blending, but my makeup held up all night long. It held up through my ceremony tears, 2 handles of jameson, 2 handles of hennessy, 6 bottles of prosecco, through speeches and through tear jerking moments. Thank you so much KP MUA. I've had the honor of getting my makeup done by Kristine twice now - once for a trial in her home, and then again for my wedding day earlier this month. Kristine is the absolute sweetest, nicest person EVER. And to top it off, if you love dogs, you'll probably have a good time during your trial too because her doggies will sit there and keep you company while she gently works her magic on your face. And when I say gently, I mean it! She has the lightest touch, you could probably fall asleep in the chair, but before you know it, you have a full face of glam on and you'll never understand how it happened. I honestly wish I had this much skill and talent but my makeup never turns out even close to as PERFECT as it does when she does it. And it is not even one bit cakey, because there will be NO cake face on my wedding day. You want to look good in pictures, yes, but you also want people standing in front of you to also look at you and tell you how nice you look and MEAN IT.. not wonder how heavy that mask on your face is. Yikes. Kristine's work makes you look truly angelic, and perfected from within. Your skin will look poreless and baby butt smooth, and it will last ALL DAY. I have an incredibly oily T-zone, and I prepared myself by bringing some blotting powder, but I didn't get a chance to use it, nor did I even have to actually! My makeup stayed on and it looked great all day. I was also looking at all of my bridesmaids in their photobooth pictures under the harsh flash late into the evening, and they still looked flawless as well. My lashes never lifted either time she applied them. My highlight was perfect in all the flash photos late at night. My foundation matched my body. Liner didn't smudge, and no raccoon eyes to be found.. despite the tiring day and 14+ hours of wear time it had to endure. And you know whenever you're in a bridal party and you get your makeup done, there are always girls asking to borrow makeup to fix something (i.e. brows, more blush, contour)??? THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN WITH KRISTINE! None of my girls asked to fix anything on their face whatsoever. We were all 100% happy, which was totally not what I've experienced in the past as a bridesmaid, and this speaks volumes about her skillset. I'm just over the moon with her work. She arrived right at the time she said she would, set up her chair, ring light, and as soon as my girls arrived, she got to work and stuck right on schedule! She also did a great job with my mom's makeup after a few brief questions about how minimal/simple she likes it. Everyone looked amazing. Would 100% recommend Kristine over and over again. I suggest being prepared with examples of her previous or similar work so she can get an idea of what you like.
