My family and I have never done a family photo shoot and we were excited to at least get one photo for a canvas. We had no idea how to pose or what to do. Miguel was the perfect photographer, especially for people who are not experienced in getting their photo taken. We love all of the poses that he suggested. He was so funny and personable which helped capture some really organic smiles and happy moments. We also included our puppy in the photo shoot and he did such a great job capturing our dog and getting her attention as well. Needless to say we've gotten much more than one good photo that we set out for. I would definitely recommend MN photography to all of my family and friends and look forward to booking again in the future. What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.

I'd like to think I am not a vain person, but when I needed my passport pictures taken, I wanted…read moresomething I would like for 10 years. :) I had pictures taken at both Walgreens and CVS, and while they "would do", those poor folks are not photographers - just click, and keep on to the next person. I wanted something more professional and MWD was the ticket. Maggie did a great job making sure everything was just right (hair, clothes placement, all the details that rushed retail folks don't have time for). I also liked that I could actually see the photo to confirm I liked it, and we took multiple shots to get the one I wanted. Maggie was able to get European-compliant photos for me, and I had no problem at the consulate when applying for a passport. Worth the price!

Nicole is FABULOUS!!!!…read more A friend of a friend recommended her to me after I lamented about how poorly my newborn pictures had turned out (done by a different photographer.) I immediately contacted Nicole to schedule a 6 month photo shoot at her in-home studio. First - she's AMAZING working with the babies and was really able to capture my son's personality. Second - her in-home studio is beautiful and packed with props, costumes, etc. You literally just need to show up with your child - she will provide all the rest! Third - Nicole is super friendly and easy to work with. We loved her so much that we booked our family session (outside, in the fall) with her and she captured some amazing shots of the fall colors. And, we'll be using her for all of our future photography needs. LOVE Nicole!!
