Not only is she a highly skilled photographer, but she is incredibly patient and is amazing with small children and babies. Both of my kids (including my very reserved older daughter) immediately felt at ease when entering her studio, which really set the tone for the rest of the photography session. Angelica works with incredibly talented cake artists who will deliver the smash cake straight to her studio. Both times, the cake was already delivered and beautifully displayed when we walked in. She also has so many stunning backdrops to choose from that photograph beautifully - I am amazed with the results each time. When my oldest did her cake smash session, she promptly toppled over her gorgeous cake. Angelica did not flinch. She captured every moment (including the cake in mid air) and then picked up the cake and continued shooting like nothing had happened. Angelica delivered all of the photos we expected, but pictures of the cake mid air are our absolute favorites. She is an absolute pro and it shows. We booked Brittany right after we got the unfortunate news that our original photographer had to…read morehave emergency back surgery and wouldn't be able to shoot our wedding anymore. Since the wedding was quickly approaching, we didn't get a chance to meet Brittany until the morning of our day. She seemed very friendly over email - but what if we didn't click? Would she understand what we wanted? I was nervous. The very moment Brittany and Esther (hand-selected by Brittany to be our second photographer) walked in, my fears were immediately put to rest. They were vibrant, happy and oh so warm and friendly! They went to work straight away, and without even asking... they somehow knew every shot I wanted as if they were reading my mind. I gave Brittany and Esther the hardest task of all: Try and coral all our wedding guests (about 90 people) after our ceremony for a group photo. This would be intimidating to anyone. My young nephews were losing steam QUICKLY and our guests were itching for the refreshing cocktails located just steps away. But somehow this impossible task was completed in only 10-15 minutes - and Brittany and Esther did everything under the sun to make sure everyone (especially my nephews) were laughing and smiling the whole time. We couldn't have been happier, and towards the end of the night Brittany and Esther felt like family. I can't imagine having anyone else with us on our day - so if you want to book photographers who will make life easier and give you dreamy photos, Brittany and Esther were the absolute dream team. She recently opened her studio here in Batavia and had some spring portraits with a beautiful setup in studio so my friend and I brought our kids here (my friend has used her before). The studio has GORGEOUS lighting; my appointment was at 10 on an early spring day and there was a beautiful glow throughout. She has different areas to use for different shoots, as well as variety of furniture and props. Olena was very welcoming and pleasant to work with. I would use her again. Parking is available either on the street (along the bridge) or in the parking lot behind the building. There are signs that are written as though you would need a permit to park here but I was told that just means it's for the businesses in the building. Parking in front will get you on the level of the studio, and if you park in the lot you'll need to take the stairs up or walk around to the front of the building.
