I made a delivery order on Sunday for $120, in which Kroger took $120 as a preauthorization on my debit card. The nexy day, instead of taking their funds from the initial $120 that it took, it charged me a second time, causing me to be $-88 in the hole. I didn't know this had happened until I stopped to get gas, and couldn't. I contacted customer support at every number and email that I could find, and they keep telling me there's nothing they can do, and I was only charged once. My bank says Kroger is who has the hold on my funds and they can't do anything unless Kroger releases them. I will never buy anything from them ever again. It cost me $240 for a $120 order, and I have to get a ride to work until I get paid because I can't even get gas. read more

This store has gone from a solid 5 stars to a sad 1star in less than 6 years--only because of their so-called "fresh" produce department. You spend 30 bucks on fruit and veggies, get home, and end up throwing most of it away. The real kicker? I now have to check every single bag of fruit or avocados before I leave the store, just to find out when I get home that they're either rotten or dried out on the inside. If you are one of the few who actually ends up with produce that does not look like it came from the pits of hell, eat this "fresh produce" before it wakes up from cold storage and immediately start rotting. This is a growing issue with everything in their produce section, and it's absolutely unacceptable. Gucci Kroger? I've seen fresher hoochies than this store's produce! Rant over. read more

since the pandemic i thought things where going to get better with the touch free scanners tht made it easier and the availablity of goods but after covid restrictions where lifted u disbanned the new system which was more effective and gave less interaction with others ur staff r still rude to customers who have basic questions or needs during the pandemic i asked what time they opened it was two min before without knowing since online was not updated and no signage of new hours i was then yelled at for knockong and asking an employee who tried ignoring me after mandate was lifted many employees seem aggitated and mad at customers when they r trying to check out its ur job to b here if u dont like answering questions leave because ur being rude to the fellow tax payers get up and stop being mean and do ur job like everyone else i dont need to have attitude when getting basic household groceries read more

This store is always cluttered with restocking items and ailse-ways are frequenylt totally blocked. Shopping carts, crates, boxes of food and pallets seem to have been dropped off at various points in the store and then abandoned. I spoke to the manager about this but not much as changed. I don't understand why the restocking can't be done in the late night or early morning hours when it is less crowded. I don't see this type of clutter at Wal-Mart and other local stores. It makes for a very annoying shopping experience. read more

I had placed an order for cupcakes over a week ago. I went today to pick up the cupcakes. What they had for me were cute, however they were not correct and not my order. I ordered 24 cupcakes - 12 chocolate, 12 vanilla, with red, white, green whipped icing, sprinkles, and Christmas rings. What they gave me where all white, all white icing. The worker in the bakery did offer to remake them, however i felt bad because they had closed the bakery already (it was 2:00pm as well) - she had all the bakery lights off, everything cleaned up, and closed. So I took them and was walking out. I then saw the same cupcakes they gave me on a display, they had literally pulled them off the shelf. So I walked back over and explained to the worker what they had did. I told her I would take them however was there something they could do off the cupcakes. She walked up front and came back and was super nasty and was like "go to customer service they will take care of you". When I got to customer service that girl working literally was in attack mode. She did not great me or anything, she just said "I don't know what you want us to do, you are refusing for us to remake them" - I said no I was not. I explained I felt bad where she was leaving and did not want her to have to stay to remake them. Then she was rolling her eyes at me and she said. I am sorry you had a misunderstanding with the bakery !!! Um No !!!! I did not. I said no misunderstanding. My order and the order slip said the correct thing. They made them wrong. No misunderstanding. She was taking to me so nasty and even another worker looked at her like - wow. I asked for the store manager. They both walked in from outside and the worker yelled - "the bakery girl has already left" ... I was like yes, I know, that's why I didn't want her to have to remake them. The manager asked what was going on. I explained everything above. I also explained how her workers were treating me over their errors and making me feel bad for something not even my fault. Even the store manager made it feel like I was an inconvenience. She was like "what do you want". I said well how about let's do $7.99 for both - they were originally $7.99 each. I had 2 - the store manager did this and was like "just do it" to the worker. I am more upset over the treatment from this store and the workers. Again me as a customer having not did anything wrong - coming to pick up an order. Like you can say anymore something is wrong, you can't address anything, everyone has an attitude, everyone makes you feel like an inconvenience. It is super sad. No empathy at all. No acknowledgment over what they had done. Just made me feel bad over their error. I did contact the corporate number and explained. Corporate was wonderful. The girl took my information and complaint. She is going to forward it to upper management. I hope they do respond. She also offered and extended a resolution for me as well. Wonderful. But again to the Kroger on route 60. Do better !! read more

Kroger in Barboursville, West Virginia offers a great shopping experience. I always find what I need. I actually shop there 2 to 3 times a week. Friendly staff. Starbucks is there also. read more

Last night I was rushing and had forgotten a bag. A nice young women who worked there had rushed one of my bags I left to my car as I was about to leave. It was freezing cold and she did not have to go the extra step to bringing me my groceries. Definitely the cleanest and most friendly Kroger in the Tristate! read more

They do not have the sale price on the check out registers. You have to go back for the credit. I was there Saturday and they owe me $9.49. Just think how much they are over charging on each customer. read more

Worst pharmacy around, prescriptions are never ready when promised. You can even be told they will be ready in 1 hr which is a lie, I waited 5.5 hrs to go get my meds they were working on yet none where even ready. How's that for service. They try to get you to pay $85 for a script even though I had a savings card on file for $47, so really pay attention if you use them. How many people have been taken advantage of? read more

This is the best grocery store in the Tri-State area. Not only does it have some of the best selection of food, it's also significantly neater and better laid out than even the other Kroger locations in Huntington. The staff is also moderately helpful, if you ask them for help. Their produce is especially good! Their prices, while not always the best, were competitive, and if you have a Kroger card and don't want to shop around, you'll get decent prices. read more

This location has a decent amount of vegetarian options and a great produce section. My only gripe would be that the water jug refill machine out front is almost always out of water (don't ask me how that is possible) or down for service. My husband and I often have to begrudgingly refill our water jugs at Walmart instead. read more

I know this Kroger Store is referred to as the Gucci Kroger, but I love shopping at this location. They have the most organic food selection around my area (I do wish they would expand upon it) which helps because I have a child with food allergies (dairy and soy). I have utilized their deli/bakery many times as well as their fresh selection of meats. Another plus about this location: if you want some coffee while shopping, they have a Starbucks inside! We send any prescriptions to this pharmacy and have a nice rapport with the Pharmacist. One of my favorite things about Kroger: their reward system. We constantly receive discounts on gas due to the amount we spend on groceries. My suggestions to them are: please add more organic fresh produce/products, update your reward system so I may choose to redeem my points for discounts on groceries or discounts on gas, update your scanning system to scan my card's barcode from my phone, and support Pay. We love their Customer Service as well! read more

I do not give 1 star lightly but this stores management must tighten the reigns on their space. The mens restroom is consistently filthy with human waste festering in the stalls, and there is a 10 foot wide pothole to greet drivers upon entry to the lot. Wal-Mart is much cleaner read more

I love the organic isle! This is probably my favorite Kroger by far, however, the area surrounding is pretty sketchy.

Starbucks in Kroger is amazing always gets my order correct and always have great staff with suggestions for coffee flavors or type of coffee. read more
